No Pens Day The children arrived at school to find that the
library and several classrooms had fallen victim to
the infamous Pen Thief! They spent the day, with
the help of the local police, analyzing evidence to
locate the culprit, who was discovered by the end
of the day. A thrilling day which included lots of
cross-curricular skills and which led to some very
interesting writing.
Many thanks to PCSO John Holland for helping the
pupils with their detective work.

Young Voices Concert
The day at the Young Voices concert was a
magical experience for all those involved. The
children were very excited from the moment
they arrived and loved sharing the songs that
they had worked so hard on, with their
parents and the wider community. To say we
were proud of them would be a massive
understatement!
INTERNET SAFETY
Internet safety is always high on the agenda at Great Eccleston Copp CE School. We have
extensive security measures in place, which are constantly measured both internally and
externally to prevent our pupils from coming across any potential dangers or
accessing suitable material but also giving them strategies if they do.
Your help is still needed to prevent children accessing inappropriate material at home by
way of filters, parental control and understanding what your child is using the internet for.
The website below offers help and advice for parents and carers.

AGT
Mr Pedder, one of our governors, is
continuing to work with our able Y5/6
mathematicians - stretching their
minds and really getting them to
think outside the box! Our guided
reading and spellings lessons are all
phased, so that children are matched
with others of the same ability and
this is showing really good results.
