This is one of the oldest computer viruses, dating back to 1987. It infected files in the MS-
DOS operating systems that were standard at the time.It is thought to have originated in
Israel.
This virus had several effects on a computer’s operating system, loaded programs and
files. The virus was known to erase various programs on set days, most commonly on
Friday the 13th of any month. The virus also infected executable programs repeatedly
until they became too large to run on a computer.
The friday 13th day specifically led some to speculate about whether the virus was
designed by someone religious or superstitious. Eventually, the virus ceased to cause
problems for newer operating systems, but not before contributing to some serious
computer crashes worldwide. In the late 1980s, it was the leading virus attacking

discussed how to come up with a new name for the company . During this
meeting, Franz’s son was quietly studying latin in a corner of the room. Several
times he looked like he was on the verge of saying something but would
swallow his words and continue working, until he finally blurted out,

Badfinger were a British rock band that originally consisted of Pete Ham, Mike Gibbins, Tom
Evans and Joey Molland. Badfinger had four consecutive worldwide hits from 1970 to 1972:
"Come and Get It" (written and produced by Paul McCartney), "No Matter What", "Day After
Day" and "__X___". The band became embroiled in the chaos of Apple Records' dissolution
following the breakup of beatles. They signed to Warner Bros., but their managers financial
machinations resulted in a lawsuit by Warner over missing money. Warner's consequent
withdrawal from market of the 1974 album, Wish You Were Here (seven weeks after its
release), cut off the band's income. Ham committed suicide by hanging himself. Over the next
three years, surviving members struggled to rebuild their personal and professional lives
against a backdrop of lawsuits. On 19 November 1983, Evans also took his own life by
hanging.
Pete Ham Wrote the song “___X___” about a woman named Dixie Armstrong, whom he had
dated during Badfinger’s last US tour.

During the late 30’s and earle 40’s ___X___ was one of the few european
scientists who decided to stay in his homeland of Germany. Unfortunately for
the allied forces, and for __X__ himself, he was considered by his colleagues
to be the preeminent mind on nuclear fission.
The OSS (Precursor of the CIA) sent former Boston Red Sox catcher __A__ to
find out what __X__ was upto. They gave __A__ a rudimentary education on
nuclear physics and a list of keywords and phrases to pay attention to and sent
him on his way. A symposium was arranged in Zurich and __X__ was invited
as a guest speaker. If any of the keywords or phrases learned by __A__ were
said in the speech, indicating that __X__ was working on an atomic bomb,
__A__’s orders were to kill him right there and then. Luckily for the scientist
and spy __X__ did not speak about atomic weaponry. It was also in German,
which __A__ knew how to speak, but probably had a hard time understanding
physics in.
