Irinox traditionally uses high quality material: AISI 304 stainless steel. This metal is renowned for its resistance to corrosion, heat and mechanical stress. When in contact with damp air or water it does not oxidise, but develops a surface layer, like a shield, that protects it over time. Stainless steel is easy to clean and therefore hygienic, and is entirely recyclable because it can be melted and reused. Austenitic stainless steels are alloys of Iron, Chromium, Carbon and Nickel. Irinox uses the following types of stainless steel: A304-A316L-A304L.

The new Hygienic range

Our company’s fundamental objective is supplying products and services that have a clear technological value and that contribute to improving the work and life of those who choose them. To meet this objective and our customers’ requirements we have created the “Hygienic” line of products that help prevent bacterial contamination of products being processed in the production lines where our enclosures are used, thus protecting both workers and end users.Because stainless steel is in itself a non-toxic and corrosion resistant material, it is commonly used in the food and chemical / pharmaceutical industries. Our new products are meant to be easier to clean, especially in the most critical parts, and thus guarantee a high level of hygiene and protection, above all in environments where strict cleanliness standards are a prerequisite. Improved cleanliness also means better efficiency.

Clean design, easy to clean

Functionality and technology should not be in conflict with each other or, even worse, compromise hygiene requirements in the food, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries. That’s why we have designed the “Hygienic” line, which has sleek styling with easy-to-clean inserts and solid fastening systems that prevent the build-up of residues.The new APH and ADH junction boxes/push-button boxes are also fitted with an FDA-certified silicon gasket.Please refer to the relevant technical data sheet for further details of each model.
