aspects of sports and recreation. Some examples of

sport managers include the front office system in

professional sports, college sports managers,

recreational managers, sports marketing, event

management, facility management, sports

economics, sport finance, and sports information.

📚Education required 📖 • Bachelors degree in sports management , marketing,

business administration and accounting.• You can also receive a Masters degree in several

different areas.• Example of one is Masters of Science in Sports

Management.• This prepares you for sports administrator, corporate

sponsorship director, head coach or general manager.

• People skills- Need to be able to speak publicly on behalf of athletes and athletic organizations.

• Teamwork- Sports managers themselves work as part of a team with coaches, trainers, and sponsors. They are a unit of professionals with a common goal: To get the best for and out of an athlete.

• Communication skills- You must be able to explain decisions and strategies, also negotiating written contracts takes a keen eye to understand legal document

• Decision making- Leading means deciding.Organizational skills- Ability to multi task
