Our slabs are designed for installation without adhesive and should be laid in T-joints. The panels are connected to each other via pre-installed connectors.

All slabs can be cut with a jigsaw, industrial cutter or table saw.

Slight unevenness of the substrate can be negated as the tiles’ substructure compensates for this. Do not hesitate to contact us for more detailed advice.

SPORTEC® rolls should always be aligned in the same directi-on to the brightest part of the room.

SPORTEC® rolls should be completely glued to the floor. Thi-cker rolls (from 10 mm thickness) can be fixed with industrial double-sided adhesive tape.

SPORTEC® rolls should be laid with pressure on the butted joints (close to overlapping). No welding or joint filler is required.

For a short running track, a 4 mm floor covering in sufficient, but more commonly we recommend a 4 + 4mm sandwich system for various applications such as multi-purpose sports fields,tennis or indoor halls. It is howe-ver possible to have up to 10+4 sandwich systems for extra athlete comfort.

It increases comfort and protects the joints by absorbing shocks so that the body is less stressed. This makes the floor feel more comfortable and a lot safer.

On site, the rolls can be cut to the desired length or shape and then simply glued down to a suitable sub-base; either con-crete or asphalt. With a team of 3-4 people the installation is relatively easy and you don‘t need any special machines.

SPORTEC® roll goods are particularly good as a sports floor in leisure areas, schools or for amateur sports clubs. They are usable for tennis, basketball and running activities.

This is a 2-layer system of 4 mmSPORTEC® UNI versa or SPORTEC® UNI classic plus an elastic layer of SPORTEC® standard underneath. The elastic layer can vary in thickness depending on the requirements.

Our floors are covered by the standard EN 14877 for „plastic surfaces on outdoor sports facilities“ and has been tested and approved. So, it can be used as an all-round soluti-on, except when additional certification is required, for example, an IAAF certificate.

Easy, just clean and tidy the loose area and glue it back down to the sub-base.

Typically 6-8 years, but it can also last much longer. It really depends on the fre-quency of use, the outdoor climate and the maintenance of the sports ground.

In an outdoor area no varnish is required. Indoor areas using SPORTEC® UNI classic can be a sealed in special circumstances, but as a rule, no varnish is necessary.

We have a variety of different SPORTEC® elastic layers which can be used for indoor multi-sports floor systems. By varying the raw materials, the density and the thickness of our SPORTEC® elastic layers, we have something to offer to meet the different national technical requirements around the world.

What can I do if there is oneroll or edge that comes loose?

Our floorings have different fire classes from Efl to Cfl-s1. For all tenders we have a fitting solution.

All SPORTEC® products should be bonded with a 2-component PU adhesive. This is very resistant, especially for outdoor use.

Environmental Management

KRAIBURG Relastec is one of the best known global companies that specialise in the production of technical rubber materials from old tyres. As a recycling specialist, we have for many years been committed to the protection of the environment. Every year, we process and recycle about 85,000 tons of old tyres, closed-cell rubber and rubber production scrap. From these raw materials, we produce high-quality granules based on our internally developed formulations. These granules make up more than 90 % of thematerial used in our finished products. All our products are 100 % recyclable without loss of quality. KRAIBURG Relastec also ma-kes a positive contribution to reducing CO2 emissions - in Germany alone, 400,000 tonnes of CO2 can be saved annually by using used tyre granulates instead of new rubber materials.
