Spoonie Apronly was

a wonderful chef. A

wonderful yet unemployed chef.

Her mother always made sure she

remembered she

was unemployed. She

left her the

newspaper open with

a big red circle

around the

employment ads.

But Spoonie didn’t want to

be a shop assistant, or a

waitress, not even a tour

guide. She wanted to be a

chef.

recipes when she saw an ad in the
