What is the concept? The aim of the whole event is to raise awareness and support for the AshrayaInitiative for Children — a children's shelter in Pune, India.

Ashraya takes a bold, unconventional approach to improving the lives of underprivileged children - In warm, caring ways that involves students from around the world.

I am Romel Dias, velo rider for the trip, entrepreneur and social media expert who now showcases another passion...cycling and spreading the word. I shall undertake an arduous 15-18 day solo cycle journey across 1400 kms of hard country from Bombay to Delhi.

We are aiming to raise the profile of Ashraya, and as a result we have approached mainstream press. The ride has so far been covered on Radio One and on social media. Hindustan Times is also looking to cover us.
