Sponsorship Opportunities Advocacy Awards Sponsors are valued partners of Easter Seals Serving DC | MD | VA. With the support of our sponsors, we provide exceptional services to ensure that all individuals with disabilities or special needs, and their families, have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in our community. Advocacy Awards Sponsors enable Easter Seals to: ★ Launch veterans, members of the National Guard and Reserves, wounded warriors and their spouses into meaningful careers, self-sufficiency, and community reintegration through comprehensive job training and employment services. ★ Ensure that children of wounded warriors, our Little Warriors, have a safe haven and educational opportunities to remain on the path for a lifetime of success. ★ Decrease isolation and improve the overall quality of life for adults and seniors with disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease and other medical conditions by keeping them in the community and out of nursing homes. ★ Ensure that children with disabilities and special needs meet their annual developmental goals, including social, emotional and academic milestones. ★ Provide children from low-income families with early intervention to ensure that they are ready for kindergarten and gain an enthusiasm for learning upon which they will build a lifetime of success. ★ Keep families whole and reduce stress levels for caregivers of children with disabilities and special needs by providing respite days; treating children to a fun day of activities while their caregivers receive a much-needed break. ★ Enable caregivers to succeed at work knowing that their loved ones are well looked after. Together, we help all individuals maximize their independence, inclusion and contributions to society.
