November 1, 2018 Hello! This might be an event that interests you and your company. It is not a huge event, but it builds on, and continues an important Puerto Rican tradition we call a Parranda. It also has common elements with other traditions in other countries such as the Posadas in Mexico. The specific tradition of Puerto Rico is a blend of religious themes as well as more secular themes, and is a time of celebration. We hope you consider joining us as a sponsor for our Annual traditional celebration of voices in the spirit of the season, bringing joy, unity and love to friends, and warmth to Philadelphians. People bring their instruments and join voices while they support Taller’s efforts. Now in its 18th year, this particular one will be held in our current facilities, and take advantage of its expanded spaces and amenities. The event is scheduled for Friday December 7th, 2018. There is a $60 donation, which will include finger food and 1 drink. The event runs from 5:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. As a partner, your company can capitalize and be part of the strength and pride of Puerto Rican/Latinx arts and culture while helping to create sustainable growth for the North Philadelphia community.
