INVITATION
From 16th to 18th June 2020, the National Laboratory for Civil Engineering (LNEC) hosts the 16th International Conference on Alkali Aggregate Reaction in Concrete – ICAAR2020.
This conference gathers different scientists and engineers and look forward to offer you a high level scientific and technical event related with the concrete AAR phenomena and its structural consequences.
In addition to the technical sessions, invited speakers present lectures on principal AAR areas of expertise. A few hundred participants are expected at ICAAR2020, giving companies a unique opportunity for promoting their products and services at national and international levels. The Organizing Committee is delighted to invite your organization to support the success of this event, through a Sponsorship of ICAAR2020, held at the LNEC Congress Centre, Lisbon, Portugal.
In this document you may access the terms for sponsorship programme, which, however, do not invalidate the offer of other forms of sponsorship, which can be customized to fit your requirements/objectives.
You can also participate in the Technical Exhibition, open to companies for presentation of their products and/or services related to the Conference themes. This exhibition takes place in the hall of LNEC’s Congress Centre, the core area of the conference venue.

TECHNICAL EXHIBITION
Information on stands and Exhibitor’s requirements:

STANDSThe Exhibition area is located in Congress Center hall, the main meeting point of the Conference, outside the congress rooms, near the reception desk and next to the coffee break area. The location of the stands, numbered from 1 to 12, is shown in the building blueprint in the next page. Each stand has an area of approximately 6 m2 (3m x 2m), and a cost of € 1 000 + € 230 (VAT). A view of the stand and the detail of the lettering is shown also in the next page..Cost of the stands includes:
– white walls within grey aluminium profiles; – pavement covered with grey carpet; – 30 cm high fascia board with Exhibitor’s name (lettering in black); – 1 power outlet 220 volts, 60 Hertz (2 pin plug); – 5 light spots of 100 Watts each.

APPLICATION AND REGISTRATIONThe final allocation of stands is made taking into consideration both the Exhibitor’s level (Diamond sponsors will be the first to choose) and, in each category, the date of payment.A receipt and a confirmation letter are sent to the Exhibitor upon receipt of payment.
SAFETYGeneral safety services in the Exhibition areas are available during the Conference. Small equipment (portable PC’s, etc.) are recommended to be locked in the stand whenever the Exhibitor is absent.The Exhibitor is responsible for his own licenses and insurance. Furthermore, the Exhibitor is responsible for any damage done by his staff to the building.
CLEANING SERVICESCleaning services are provided during the Conference.
SETTING-UP AND DISMANTLINGSetting-up: Stands are delivered to Exhibitors on Monday 15th June at 10.00 am. Dismantling: All Exhibition material must be removed from stands on Friday 19th June.

TECHNICAL EXHIBITION PLAN
LNEC CAMPUSLNEC’s campus is located in central Lisbon, covering an area of about 22 hectares. Diamond sponsors may perform live demos of their equipment on the campus (near the buildings, in the gardens, inside pavilions).
