Authors and books for the Spring Season will be announced in November or December. �is arrangement allows �e Prologue Society to take advantage of the latest opportunities to bring the most renowned authors and the most interesting new books to our members.

Most people join �e Prologue Society for the Full Seasonfrom September to May. �e membership fee for the FullSeason is $475 for a couple in the same household and $275for an individual. �e Prologue Society also o�ers two half-seasons, one in the fall and one in the spring. �e cost of a half-season membership is $275 for a couple in the same household and $175 for an individual. Members receive a copy of each book featured at the luncheons.

WHERE ARE THE LUNCHEONS HELD?Luncheons are held at the Riviera Country Club, 1155 Blue

lunch is served before the author’s presentation, which is followed by a question-and-answer exchange. Occasionally evening events are scheduled for a particular author.

WHAT IS THE COST PER LUNCHEON?

Cocktail events are priced at the break-even charge from the Riviera Country Club.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR EACH LUNCHEON?

CAN I BRING GUESTS?Guests are welcome. Some events may be closed to guests due to space limitations. Members are encouraged to bring guests to the events provided that each guest attends only once during the Full Season. Bringing someone as a guest is a great way to recruit new members.

NOTEMembership is limited by space available. It is absolutely necessary to make luncheon reservations with payment in advance. Cancellations received with at least three full business days’ notice (72 hours, not counting weekends) will be reimbursed, but cannot be reimbursed after that.

If we have an email address for you, an email notice will be sent about two weeks before each event. You can then go to www.theprologuesociety.org to sign up for the luncheon; or if we do not have an email address for you, we will send you a luncheon announcement and a return-envelope by regular mail.
