John Buckley Chief Executive Officer Wilbur Ellis/Connell Bros Co

John Buckley is the president and CEO at Wilbur-Ellis. Prior to joining Wilbur-Ellis in January 2018, he was CEO of Air Liquide USA LLC from 2013 – 2017 and was a member of the Americas Zone leadership team. He led Air Liquide’s multi-billion-dollar U.S. industrial gas business, and oversaw Industrial Merchant, Electronics and Large Industries businesses, as well as U.S. corporate functions including Safety, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Communications and Human Resources.

Buckley has over 30 years of experience in business management, engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing. He has worked in Sao Paulo and Mexico City along with many cities across the U.S throughout the 22 years he worked for Rohm and Haas Company, holding several executive positions. From 2006 – 2010, he proceeded to serve as president of AgroFresh Inc., a rapidly growing technology business, and served as president of Angus Chemical and global general manager of Personal, Home and Industrial Care at The Dow Chemical Company from 2010 – 2012.

Buckley holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Villanova University, is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and functional in French. He serves as vice president on the board of trustees for The Center in Houston and is on the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia. He also is president of The Monica T. Buckley Foundation and serves on the board of directors for Michelman, Inc. as a member of the audit and risk committee.

Buckley and his wife, Tracey, live in San Francisco and have two sons, Patrick and Alexandre.

Mike Callahan President & CEO Gypsum Management & Supply Inc/GMS

Mike Callahan joined GMS in 1993 as Vice President of Finance. He progressed through several roles including Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and President prior to being appointed to his current role as CEO on May 1, 2015. Mr. Callahan is also a member of GMS’ Board of Directors. Mr. Callahan was actively involved in the expansion of GMS over the years, growing it from approximately 55 distribution centers to its current level of 204, through both greenfield and acquisition opportunities. He was a key member of the GMS team in the AEA transaction and helped to lead the road show and IPO of the company in June 2016 on the NYSE.

Prior to joining GMS, he was a Senior Vice President with C&S National Bank and NationsBank in Atlanta where he held a number of lending and management positions in corporate and asset based lending. Mr. Callahan is on the board of Eagle Ranch, a home for children and families in crisis, and was past Chair of the Eagle Ranch Foundation, a funding arm for the home. He also serves on the Policy Advisory Board of the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies. He has been married for 42 years to his high school sweetheart, Jan, and has three grown children and seven grandchildren.

Andrew Cichocki (Andy) Chief Operating Officer Airgas an Air Liquide Company

Andrew (“Andy”) R. Cichocki is a member of Airgas’ Senior Leadership team and was named Chief Operating Officer following Air Liquide’s acquisition of Airgas. Previously, Mr. Cichocki served as President – Airgas USA, LLC, leading all sales, operational, organizational, and financial aspects of Airgas USA, LLC, including Airgas’ distribution business units. He also serves as Chair of the Airgas SustainabilityCommittee.

Beginning in 2011, Mr. Cichocki assumed the role of Senior Vice President – Distribution Operations and Business Process Improvement for Airgas, Inc. In addition to oversight of various business units, Mr. Cichocki has been responsible for Airgas’ welding hardgoods and safety products distribution infrastructure, product sourcing and management, cylinder gas engineering and supply chain, and fleet management. He also led Airgas’ business process improvement initiatives, including strategic pricing and SAP implementation activities.

Mr. Cichocki previously served as Airgas’ Division President – Process Gases and Chemicals from 2008 to 2011, and also served as President of Airgas National Welders, one of Airgas’ largest distribution regions, beginning in 2003. Prior to that, he served in key corporate roles for Airgas including Senior Vice President – Human Resources, Senior Vice President – Business Operations and Planning, and Vice President – Corporate Development.

Early in his career, he was an operations manager for Rain Bird Sprinkler Manufacturing Company and a test engineer with the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Macpherson holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Bill Mansfield is senior vice president, marketing for Graybar, a leading distributor of electrical and communications products and related supply chain management and logistics services. Mansfield began his career with Graybar in 1987 as a management trainee in St. Louis and quickly progressed through sales roles in both St. Louis and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, before becoming a product manager just seven years into his career.

Mansfield has successfully served in management roles at the corporate, regional and branch levels. Prior to his current role, he served as Graybar’s senior vice president, sales and marketing. As vice president, commercial and industrial, he led Graybar’s efforts to create a specialized sales organization focusing on industrial customers. He has experience in automation, industrial networking, intelligent building design and energy management.

Mansfield has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Saint Louis University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. He has attended executive education training at The Ohio State University (Wholesale Distribution Executive Management), University of Michigan (Management of Managers) and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (Creating and Managing Strategic Alliances). Kathleen M. Mazzarella is chairman, president and chief executive officer at Graybar, an employee-owned, FORTUNE 500 distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products. Kathy joined the company in 1980 as a customer service representative at San Francisco. She progressed through various sales positions before transferring to St. Louis as a senior sales representative in 1984. In 1991 she was named field sales manager in St. Louis and was appointed district marketing manager the following year. In 1994 Kathy joined Graybar’s corporate headquarters as national product manager and was named director of sales in 1997. The following year she was appointed vice president, corporate accounts and international, a position she held until June 2001, when she was promoted to vice president, strategic planning. In January 2004, she was promoted to vice president, human resources and strategic planning and was elected to Graybar’s Board of Directors. Kathy was named senior vice president, human resources and strategic planning in December 2005. In April 2008, she became senior vice president, sales and marketing comm/data and in March 2010, was appointed senior vice president, sales and marketing. In December 2010, she was appointed to the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer. She was appointed the 11th president and chief executive officer in company history in June of 2012 and became chairman of the board of directors in January of 2013. Kathy serves as Chair of the Executive Committee of the Board and as Chair of the Employees’ Benefit, Finance and IT Committees of the Company.

Kathy holds an associate degree in telecommunications engineering, a bachelor’s degree in applied behavioral sciences and a master’s degree in business administration. She has attended executive education training at Harvard Business School, Wharton, University of Michigan, and Northwestern’s Kellogg Business School.

Kathy currently serves on the Board of Directors of Waste Management, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange-listed company, and as a member of its Management Development and Compensation and Nominating and Governance Committees. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis as Chair. In addition, she also serves on the boards of the Saint Louis Club and Express Scripts, as well as the Webster University Business and Technology Advisory Board. She is a member of The Business Council, Vistage Worldwide, Inc., the International Women’s Forum, The Committee of 200, United Way of Greater St. Louis and Civic Progress.

Kathy’s business achievements and community involvement helped her earn several recognitions, including the St. Louis “40 Under 40” award in 2000 and the “Most Influential Businesswomen in St. Louis” award in 2004. Kathy’s views on human resources strategy were included as a chapter in Inside the Minds, a book featuring interviews with top HR practitioners across the United States. She was also featured as one of the “Women Worth Watching in 2010” in the September/October, 2009, issue of Profiles in Diversity Journal. Kathy has been the driving force behind the establishment of a women’s networking group at Graybar and in promoting careers for women in the wholesale distribution industry. Charlie Merinoff is a principal founder of Breakthru Beverage Group (BBG), the innovative beverage wholesaler formed by Charmer Sunbelt Group (CSG) and Wirtz Beverage Group on January 1, 2016. He currently serves as Co-Chairman of BBG’s Board of Managers. The operations of the company and its affiliates spans 16 markets throughout North America, and the company represents a portfolio of premier wine, spirits and beer brands totaling more than $6 billion in annual sales.

Previously Charlie was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CSG, one of the nation’s leading distributors of fine wines and spirits. Following his graduation from the University of Wisconsin in 1980, Charlie joined the family’s business, holding various positions in operations, purchasing and sales. In 1991, Charlie was named President of Charmer Industries, the family’s Metro New York business. In 1994, the family acquired Sunbelt Beverage Corporation, then operating distributorships in several Eastern states. The Sunbelt Beverage Corporation continued to expand through acquisitions and partnerships, and in 1997 the wholesale companies in which the family had an interest became known as The Charmer Sunbelt Group. In 2011, he was named Chairman of the Board of The Charmer Sunbelt Group.

Charlie devotes a significant amount of time and resources to charitable organizations. He has been a member of the Board of the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation since 1999, and is their current Chairman. Additionally, Charlie spent twelve years on the Board of Trustees of the Culinary Institute of America and is currently Trustee Emeritus. He presides on the Board of Directors of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and is the incoming Chairman of the Board.

Charles has previously been on the Board of Trustees of Northwell Health - formerly North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System and Make-A Wish Foundation Metro New York. Charlie spearheaded the annual “Wine and Wishes” tasting and auction, which raised nearly $8.0 million over 13 years for Make-A-Wish.

Eric Metzendorf President-Bakery Distribution Dawn Food Products Inc

Eric Metzendorf has over 36 years of experience in the food distribution industry, of which 28 of those years have been with his current employer Dawn Food Products, a manufacturer and wholesale distributor of bakery ingredients, finished products and other bakery supplies.

Eric began his career with Dawn in 1990 by launching the New Jersey distribution facility and then became General Manager of the new center. In 1994, Eric also assumed the role of Regional Director of Distribution – East, and then became Regional Vice President – Dawn North America (DNA), Northeast in 1997. Eric was promoted to Vice President,DNA and moved to the Dawn home office in Jackson, MI in 1999. Over the next few years, Eric’s responsibility for Dawn’s distribution operations grew and he was promoted to Vice President of Distribution in 2001. In 2006, Bakery Distribution became a strategic business unit, and Eric was named its’ President. Dawn’s Bakery Distribution provides national coverage of both the US and Canadian markets.

Prior to Dawn, Eric worked for a regional bakery distributor, Nutmeg Bakers Supply, Beacon Falls, CT, as the General Manger of their New Jersey distribution business. Eric started his career in his family’s bakery supply business which was sold to Nutmeg in 1987.

Joe Tracy is the Chief Executive Officer of Dot Foods. Joe is the second youngest of founders R.T. and Dorothy Tracy’s twelve children. Since joining the sales team full-time in 1987, he’s held positions in sales, purchasing, distribution center management, warehouse, and transportation. Joe served as President of Dot Transportation for 14 years and added the title of Executive Vice- President of Operations for Dot Foods in 2006.
