WHAT IS REELIVE?

• It’s a media award fiesta that is organised every year by the department.

• There are 8 media categories and each category brings in entrees from all

other colleges in and around the state.

• These entrees are viewed and shortlisted by a panel of eminent judges

from the media industry.

• The best creations and their creators from each category are honoured

with awards. These prizewinning films are showcased during the show,

witnessed by students from different colleges and personalities from the

industry.



OUR UNIQUE QUOTIENT

• We work towards promoting a social cause.

• The PSA category exclusively brings in creative films for the

particular social cause chosen. This year it’s child abuse.

• This gives a chance for the students to approach the cause in

different angles.

• This way, both the students and the viewers further educate

themselves about the social cause.



OUR KEY MOTIVE

• This is predominantly done to showcase and introduce fresh talents

to the mighty industry, encourage their passion for media and their

dreams to take wing and reach heights.



FLASHBACK - REELIVE’09

• For a better understanding about the potential of this event, we

would like to give you a short review on Reelive 2009, the back

story of an event which helped realize the dreams of many.



• With several entrees and support the show was a grand success that took

place within the campus.

• Famous media personalities like Murgadoss, Sneha, Vijay and many more

graced the occasion with their presence and witnessed the best works.

• In between the award ceremony dance, music and variety performances

were staged that added vibe and kept the crowd going.

• The whole event was covered by SS music and Vijay TV channels and the

following were the media partners.

• It definitely left behind a mark in the history and added another feather

to the crown of our department.



COMEBACK REELIVE’12

• We agree two years is certainly a long period of silence. As a

compensation, this year we are working towards a sound comeback

that will cumulate the three years’ josh altogether in one blast!



REELIVE’12 – THE EVENT

• The event will involve Screening of the Short films, Music

videos, Documentaries, PSA’s and Advertising commercials

produced by Media students of Top Media Institutions from all

over the world

• Professional Entertainment performances

• Top Film Celebrities and Media Personalities will be gracing

the event and giving away the awards to the winners



REELIVE’12 - AUDIENCE

• Celebrities, reputed Alumni of the Visual Communication

department of Loyola College and Media personalities will begracing the event

• With over 140 colleges invited, Media students from around

the Nation will be attending the event
