The city of Hanoi is a fascinating blend of Asian vibrancy and French colonial elegance. Today

we enjoy a guided tour of the city’s highlights. We explore one of peaceful villages admit the

bustle city, hang around its narrow road, market and meet the villagers, a great way to start

knowing about a country.

Visit Tran Quoc pagoda, located on Westlake, one of the oldest pagodas in Hanoi. Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars. Visit Hanoi Train Street, a global top attraction. The railway was first built in the Vietnamese city in 1902 by French Colonists. Over the years, houses have cropped up alongside the tracks. Witness the train rumbles through the old-styles houses. Stop at the Opera House for photos while your guide will provide a quick glance of the French architecture, visible by the many colonial monuments scattered throughout the downtown. Hanoi’s urban layout of spacious boulevards and beautiful common spaces was strongly influenced by the French occupation.

Within the Old Quarter, as they had since the 15th Century, the narrow 36 streets of the Old Quarter bear names that reflect the business once conducted there; silk street, rice street, paper street, lacquer ware street, and jewelry street. Breakfast at hotel and check out. From Hanoi, pick up at hotel and head East for more than 3 hours to Ha Long Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994, with the green paddy fields and rural villages shown along the road. Upon arrival at Vinashin Tourist Harbor, you are welcomed at our waiting room before enjoying the cruise. 12:15 – 12:30 Embark on Huong Hai Sealife Cruise. Enjoy welcome drink as Cruise Manager gives you a brief overview of the itinerary and important safety guideline. Check in your cabin. 13:00 Start cruising among famous islets (Indochina studio, Am Islet) of Bai Tu Long Bay, the wildest beauty with the panoramic natural views. Admire the grace of the bay while enjoying the delicious lunch in the restaurant at the first deck. 14:30 Explore the well-hidden Co Cave (known as Thien Canh Son Cave). Relax on white sandy beach or walk along the beach at Hon Co Island (no swimming). 15:45 Return to Huong Hai Sealife and enjoy Happy hour. Day 3 HANOI – HA LONG BAY-OVERNIGHT CRUISE (B/L/D join bus and use in-house English-speaking guide on boat)


Treasure the wonderful beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay at sunset; admire the striking islands and islets, savoring the fresh and peaceful atmosphere which could hardly be found inland while cruising to Cong Do sleeping area. 16:30 Enjoy kayaking at Cong Do or relaxing on the cruise (kayak is at supplement cost: $10/person and is available to book in advance for while you are on boat) 18:00 Onboard the vessel, surrounded by a stunning, setting in motion, attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking (spring roll) on the sundeck. 19:15 Dinner is served in the restaurant at the first desk. 6:30 Welcome anew day with an amazing dawn on Bai Tu Long Bay. Refresh your body and soul with a Tai-chi session on the sundeck. 7:00 Catch the morning view of seascape while enjoying the breakfast with cookies and tea, café in the restaurant. 7:30 Visit Vung Vieng village - the famous fishing farm by bamboo boat and discover life of local people living on the surface of HalongBay

Day 4 HA LONG BAY-HANOI - FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY (B/Brunch/- join bus and use in-house English speaking guide on boat)


8:30 Return to Huong Hai Sealife. 9:15 Pack up the luggage and check out of the cabin. 9:30 – 10:40 Enjoy the brunch in the restaurant while cruising back to Vinashin tourist harbor. 11:00 Disembark from Huong Hai Sealife. Take your return journey and arrive in Hanoi at around 4PM. Then transfer to Noi Bai airport for a flight to Saigon (now known as Ho Chi Minh City) – the most hectic and business city of Vietnam. Upon arrival at airport, welcomed and transfer to city center to check in hotel. Overnight in Saigon.

Today is free day at leisure or you may select our optional Mekong excursion or Cu Chi tunnel excursion. Overnight in Saigon Optional: Charming Ben Tre Province (08:00am – 17:00) USD 94 per person sharing This morning, depart for a 2-hour drive from downtown Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre province. Take in the lush surroundings of rice paddies and fruit farms alongside the highway as you leave behind the high-energy city. Arriving at the waterfront pier, set off for a slow journey along the Mekong River. Gain a glimpse at countryside scenery and river life while enjoying seasonal tropical fruits and local specialties. Shore excursions include the home of a tropical fruit farmer. Have a walk around his orchard and observe how the local farmers harvest the fruits using the traditional method. Enjoy the opportunity to taste fresh coconuts and grapefruits while engaging in with local farmers for an overview of their daily farming tasks. Stop for a visit at the family-run business where you learn how the coconuts are processed and then enjoy country hospitality as you sip a cup of honey tea and taste the sweet flavor of coconut candy in a rustic yet cozy atmosphere. Tour a hidden island by traditional tuk-tuk or bicycle, passing through sleeping village, local cottage industries, canals, and fruitful orchards. Locals will often friendly greet you with a hello or “xin chao” as you pass by. Relax while discovering more of the Delta from a small rowing sampan as you are paddled slowly through the maze of small canals covered by water coconut trees. Cap off your memorable trip by a tasty lunch with Mekong Delta specialties. After lunch, head back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 5 HO CHI MINH CITY – FREE DAY (B/-/-)


Optional : Half day Cu Chi tunnels excursion (08.00-12.30) USD 78 per person sharing Originally dug as a base to organize guerrilla-style actions against the French, the Cu Chi tunnels were expanded during the Indochina War to become an ingenious and incredible underground network to protect the Viet Cong guerrillas from the French air and ground sweeps. There are more than 200 kilometers of subterraneous complexes containing storage rooms, kitchens, hospitals, sleeping quarters and even schools, once occupied by more than 10,000 people. This morning, depart Ho Chi Minh City for 1.5-hour drive northwest to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, passing through urbanized areas and a typically lush southern Vietnamese countryside. Tour the vast network of underground passageways to gain an insight into the tunnels’ history, life in the tunnels as well as the tenacity and resourcefulness of the Vietnamese during combat.

You will have breakfast at the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure until you transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
