Measurable Performance Objectives Students will understand the difference between

classic and quantum mechanics Students will acquire basic understanding of quantum

mechanics Students will demonstrate the knowledge of

spintronics Students will be able to define qubit Students will be able to compare conventional

microelectronic and spintronic devices Students will gain an insight into future technology Students will be able to design a top of the

technology computer.

Evaluation Criteria

Students will demonstrate proficiency on all measurable performance objectives at least to the 75% level. Evaluation will be based on written report and oral presentation. A rubric will be used for evaluation.
