3

Before operation, inspection or maintenanceof the machine,be sure to read andunderstand this manual.Incorrect operation or maintenance of themachine can cause accidents, serious injuryand death.Always keep this manual on hand,so thatyou can immediately consult it whennecessary.Should it be missing or damaged, ask yourdistributor for another copy. There are various kinds of federal, state andlocal regulations associated withconstruction equipment.Since theseregulations are subject to change and differfrom one country to another,it is impossiblefor us to provide such information in thismanual. It is the responsibility of the owner oroperator to be familiar with the regulations.Specifications and materials of the machineare subject to change with no prior notice.

Understand your machineRead and understand the operator’s manualand labels affixed to the machine.Learn itsapplication and limitations as well as thespecific potential hazards peculiar to it.

This manual, relevant plates and labels onthe machine contain the necessaryinstructions for correct and safe operation. You should read and understand themfirstly.Injury or death may result should youignore them.Do not leave what you do notunderstand to chance, your distributor will beglad to let you have any information youmay need.If the manual, relevant plates orlabels are missing or damaged, contact yourdistributor for replacement.

Be thoroughly familiar with the controls andtheir proper operation.Know how to stop themachine and disengage the controls quickly.

Make sure to read and understand all theinstructions and safety precautions asoutlined in the Engine Manufacture’s Manualpacked separately with your machine.Do notattempt to operate the machine until youfully understand how to properly operateand maintain the Engine and how to avoidaccident injuries and/or property damage.

With all hydraulically-operated devices it isextremely important to warm the hydraulicoil before starting to work.During worm upthe operator should check that the machineis working properly or if any maintenancework is needed.Remember:that the basicprinciple of hydraulics is exactly the flow ofthe oil.If you hear a jarring noise,it meansthat pump lubrication is low due tocavitation, often caused by oil that is too thickor heavy.Absolutely never operate amachine in these conditions as seriousdamage to the pump could result.

Work areaNever start or run the machine inside aclosed area. The exhaust fumes aredangerous, containing carbon monoxide, anodorless and deadly gas.Operate themachine only in a well ventilated outdoorarea.

Never operate the machine without goodvisibility or light.

Before starting to work, walk around the minidumper and carefully check that there areno persons or obstacles hindering yourworking area.

Personal safetyDo not operate the machine while under theinfluence of drugs, alcohol,or any medicationthat could affect your ability to use itproperly.

Dress properly.Wear heavy long pants, bootsand gloves.Do not wear loose clothing, shortpants, and jewelry of any kind.secure longhair, clothing and gloves away from moving

parts.Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair canbe caught in moving parts.

Use safety equipment.Always wear eyeprotection.Safety equipment such as a dustmask, hard hat,or hearing protection used forappropriate conditions will reduce personalinjuries.

Check your machine before starting it.Keepguards in place or is in poor mechanicalcondition.Make sure all nuts, bolts, etc aresecurely tightened.

Never operate the machine when it is inneed of repair or is in poor mechanicalcondition.Replace damaged, missing orfailed parts before using it.Check for fuelleaks.keep the machine in safe workingcondition.

Do not come close to moving or rotatingparts such as belts or fans.Do not allow anyobject to come near moving or rotatingparts.Serious accidents may result.

Never remove or tamper with safetydevice.Check their proper operationregularly.

Do not use the machine if the engine’sswitch does not turn it on or off.Any gasolinepowered machine that cannot be controlledwith the engine switch is dangerous andmust be replaced.

Form a habit of checking to see that keysand adjusting wrenches are removed frommachine area before starting it.A wrench ora key that is left attached to a rotating part ofthe machine may result in personal injury.

Stay alert, watch what you are doing and usecommon sense when operating themachine.

Do not overreach.Do not operate themachine while barefoot or when wearingsandals or similar lightweight footwear,Wear

protective footwear that will protect your feetand improve your footing on slipperysurfaces.Keep proper footing and balance tall times. This enables better control of themachine in unexpected situations.

Avoid accidental starting.Be sure the engineis off before transporting the machine orperforming any maintenance or service onthe unit.Transporting or performingmaintenance or service on a machine withengine on invites accidents.

Fuel safetyFuel is highly flammable, and its vapors canexplode if ignited.Take precautions whenusing to reduce the chance of seriouspersonal injury.

When refilling or draining the fuel tank, usean approved fuel storage container while ina clean,well-ventilated outdoor.Do notsmoke,or allow sparks, open flames or othersources of ignition near the area whileadding fuel or operating the machine.Neverfill fuel tank indoors.

Keep grounded conduct6ive objects, such astools, away from exposed, live electrical partsand connections to avoid sparking orarcing. These events could ignite fumes orvapors.

Always stop the engine and allow it to coolbefore filling the fuel tank.Never remove thecap of the fuel tank or add fuel while theengine is running or when the engine ishot.Do not operate the machine with knownleaks in the fuel system.

Loose the fuel tank cap slowly to relieve anypressure in the tank.

Never over fill fuel tank.Fill tank to no morethan 12.5mm(1/2”) bellow the bottom of thefiller neck to provide space for expansion asthe heat of the engine can cause fuel toexpand.

5

Replace all fuel tank and container capssecurely and wipe up spilled fuel.Neveroperate the machine without the fuel capsecurely in place.

Avoid creating a source of ignition for spilledfuel. If fuel is spilled,do not attempt to startthe engine but move the machine away fromthe area of spillage and avoid creating anysource of ignition until fuel vapors havedissipated.

Store fuel in containers specially designedand approved for this purpose.

Store fuel in a cool,well-ventilatedarea,safely away from sparks, open flamesor other sources of ignition.

Never store fuel or machine with fuel in thetank inside a building where fumes mayreach a spark, open flame,or other sourcesof ignition, such as a water heater, furnace, clothes dryer and the like.Allow the engineto cool before storing in any enclosure.

Machine use

Execute all operations carefully.Operatingbrusquely the machine can cause damagesand reduce consistently efficiency.Take careof regulations that warrant safety on job site.

Never overload any cylinder enough totrigger the opening of the safety valve, thiswould cause an excessive rise in the oiltemperature, lowering the useful life of thehydraulic components.

Make sure the machine footing is level andfirm to avoid skidding or overturning if youneed to use the machine on the shoulder ofa road or a slope.

Do not force the machine.Use the correctmachine for your application. The correctmachine will do the job better and safer atthe rate for which it was designed.

Do not change the engine governor settingsor over-speed the engine. The governorcontrols the maximum safe operating speedof the engine.

Do not run the engine at a high speed whenyou are not working.

Do not put hands or feet near rotating parts.

Avoid contact with hot fuel, oil, exhaust fumesand hot surfaces.Do not touch the engine ormuffler. These parts get extremely hot fromoperation. They remain hot for a short timeafter you turn off the machine.Allow theengine to cool before doing maintenance ormaking adjustments.

The machine should be operated on a flatsurface, but if you are moving material onslopping ground,be sure that the tracks arepositioned in the direction of the slope andnot crossways. If you need to work onsoft, rough or unlevel ground, take care toavoid overturning.

In normal situations(not emergency) alwaystry to turn as slowly as possible.Sharp turnsor standing pivots will shorten the useful lifeof the machine and tracks.Changes in traveldirection should be slow to avoidoverloading the sprockets, especially onrough, unlevel ground.

If the ground is very rough or covered bystones or rocks, travel must be veryslow.Control the travel speed with theengine throttle lever.Never cause shocks tothe tracks and to the machine.

When using the machine on sloppingground, move upwards in reverse and guidethe machine from ground.Even slightsurface roughness can jolt the machine andmay cause overturning.

Travel in reverse, the operator must alwaysbe above the load.

Use extreme caution when in reverse orpulling the machine towards you.

Exercise extreme caution when operating ona crossing gravel drives, walks,or roads.Stayalert for hidden hazards or traffic.

On soft ground, drive at the lowest F&Rspeed speed,do not rapidly accelerate, turnsharply or stop.

If possible, avoid driving on pebbly riverbed, crushed stone terrains, steel concrete, stumpy field, logs etc.,since such operationcaused fatal damage or shortens life span oftracks.

Do not operate the machine in confinedareas where there may be a risk of crushingthe operator between the machine andanother object.

When moving over a slope, whether movingforward or in reverse, always make certainthat the weight is evenly balanced.Alwaysmove in directions parallel with the slope(up

or down). To avoid danger,do not change thespeed on slopes.

When tipping the load from a dumper, thecenter of gravity will change continuouslyand the ground conditions will be essentialfor the stability of the machine. There arespecial hazards for dumpers working on softground and when the load is sticking to bodye.g. wet clay.

Never park the machine in a place withunstable ground which could give way, particularly when it is full.

Never leave the machine on or near a bankthat might cave in,or on the edge of anexcavation that might give way.Keep themachine away from dangerous areas whenit is to be left idle for a certain length of time.Whenever possible, park the machine onlevel ground.

1.Disassemble the bolts(No..7) ,washers(No.

3.Assemble the gasket(No.6),cleaning up cap(No.3),washers(No.8.9) and the bolts(No.7)again in turns showed above.4.Then can continue to add the new hydraulicoil.Check and adjust track tensionWith use, tracks tend to be loose, whenoperating with loose tracks, they tend to slipover the driving wheel affecting the commonusing of machine. To check track tightness, proceed as follows:1.Place the machine on a level ground.2.Lift the machine and set it on blocks orsupports rated for the weight of the machineso that the tracks can be about 100mm off theground.3.Measure the track midline VS.the horizontalline. The reading must not be more than10-15mm.If the distance is greater, proceed as follows:1.Tipping the dump box and better set it on

16

blocks or supports rated for the weight of thebox.2.Loosen lock nut B3.Tighten bolt A until the correct tightness isrestored.4.Secure bolt A by tightening lock nut Bthoroughly.5.Return the dump box to its original position.

Replacing tracksCheck the condition of the tracks periodically. If any track is cracked or frayed,it should bereplaced as soon as convenient.

Following below instructions to replace track:1.Disassemble the protection cover of wheels2.Loosen lock nut B and bolt A shown inabove figure to let the tracks loose enough.3.Disassemble bolt C.4.Move the old track off and install new track.5.Adjust bolt A to assure correct tightness.6.Secure bolt A by tightening lock nut Bthoroughly.7.Finally install the protection cover.

If the machine will not be used for a periodlonger than 30 days, follow the steps below toprepare for storage.1.Drain the fuel tank completely.Stored fuelcontaining ethanol or MTBE can start to gostale in 30 days.Stale fuel has high gumcontent and can clog the carburetor andrestrict fuel flow.2.Start the engine and allow it to run until itstops. This ensures no fuel is left in thecarburetor and helps prevent gum depositsfrom forming inside the carburetor andpossible engine damage.

3.While the engine is till warm, drain the oilfrom the engine.Refill with fresh oil of the

grade recommended in the engine manual.4.Use clean cloths to clean off the outside ofthe machine and to keep the air vents free ofobstructions.5.Inspect for any loose or damagedparts.Repair or replace damaged parts andtighten loose screws, nuts or bolts.6.Store the machine on flat ground indoors, ifstorage outdoors is necessary, choose a flatplace and cover the machine.NOTE:During storage operate the machineonce a month to maintain a film of lubricatingoil.

If the adjustment bolt has no

more adjustment left,the tracks

may have to be replaced.

When removing or installing the

tracks,be careful not to get your

fingers caught between the

Track and pulley.
