Spelling list- Year 4 Group 2 Autumn 1 Below is the list of spellings for this half term. Please help your child to learn these spellings for a weekly test each Friday. I am giving ten spellings a week for children to learn. These are difficult words for some children, but we will be doing a lot of work in class to help children learn these rules. We are giving most children the same National Curriculum spelling words and putting them into a dictation for their test. I have sent home a ‘look, say, cover, write, check’ sheet for each week to help them practise on the lead up to the dictation. Don’t forget that all spellings and homework can be found at https://www.yewtree.tgacademy.org.uk/ along with pages to support your child’s studies and revision. Please ensure that your child not only learns these spellings but that they can also apply them in a variety of contexts. The easiest way to do this is to put each word into a variety of different sentences.
