68th Independence Day celebration was held with
great patriotic fervor at Tatachem D.A.V. Public School Babrala. Principal Mr. Jagdish Singh welcomed all the guests. National Flag, the pride of our nation was hoisted by the Vice President of T.C.L. and Chairman of T.C.D.A.V. Mr. S. Bhaskar Kumar. Then a guard of honor was given to the chief guest by School N.C.C. Cadets and T.C.L. security personnel. Thereafter the parade was inspected by the chief guest. On this great occasion Chairman Mr. S. Bhaskar Kumar paid tribute to the great martyrs and freedom fighters of India and congratulated all on 68th Independence Day. He delivered a very apprising speech in which he threw light on this red letter day and took a vow to take the school to the zenith of success. He congratulated all the teachers for receiving the appreciation letter from Human Resource Development Minister for their efforts in producing a very good result in class XII. Mr. Bhaskar also congratulated class XII science topper Miss Vineeta Mahajan for getting annual scholarship
Scholarship for her higher education. On this occasion winners of painting competition (organized by T.C.L.) were also awarded. Class X student Aditi Shukla was also congratulated by Principal Sir for winning the prize of ten thousand rupees in an on-line essay writing series held by C.B.S.E. After that a short cultural program was presented. The program commenced with the performance of our little singers who showcased their talent by presenting a patriotic song. Miss Jahnavi Saxena and Master Avichal Bhatnagar delivered very enthusiastic speeches. Besides this Hindi Skit, action Song and dance performance also evoked the patriotic fervor of the audience. On this occasion Mr. S. Bhaskar Kumar, many other T.C.L. authorities, parents, TCDAV staff and students were present. The program was anchored by Miss Pallavi Rani and Miss Saloni Singh. It came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Vineeta Srivastava along with the sweets distribution to our blooming buds. Overall the program was a grand success and appreciated by all.
actively. Students of classes L.K.G., UKG, I and II recited various poems based on Gandhiji’s life. A mesmerizing skit was presented by class I students on the life history of Mahatma Gandhi. Besides this various aspects of Gandhiji’s life were presented very lively. Two students of class II, Vinayak Choudhary and Vansh Dixit brought the memory of these legends alive on stage by dressing up as Gandhi ji and Lal Bahadur Shastri respectively. A very informative speech about Gandhiji’s life and ideals was delivered by class II student Shashwat Shukla. The thought of the day was presented by Mritunjay Pratap Singh. A very melodious group song ‘Aaj hai do October ka din’ was sung by class II students. The program was anchored by Class II students Kanishka Singh and Ayan Khan very confidently. Principal, Mr. Jagdish Singh appreciated the efforts of all the students and teachers. He urged all the students to be the staunch follower of the ideals and values of these great souls. The program was well attended by TCDAV students and teachers and appreciated by all.
On 2nd October, D.A.V. family celebrated the birthday of two luminaries of Indian history-Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. On this great occasion a special assembly was conducted and the students of K.G. wing participated very actively
To commemorate the birth anniversary of
Lord Krishna and keep the young minds
aware about their rich glorious culture and
festivals, TCDAV celebrated Janmashtami on
16th August 2014 with zeal and zest. A
special assembly was conducted on this
auspicious occasion in which a short cultural
program was presented by our students. A
captivating skit was staged depicting lord
Krishna’s birth, childhood, various pranks
and vibrant leelas. Small kids dressed up in
dazzling attires as Krishna, Radha and Sakha
brought Vrindavan alive on stage with their
enthralling dance performance. Various
aspects of Lord Krishna’s life were
beautifully presented on stage. The program
was well attended and appreciated by
TCDAV students and teachers.
The word ‘teacher’ conjures up the image of a person who is the apostle of sacrifice, dedication and love. To honour these outstanding personnel of our school and observe the birth anniversary of India’s second President Dr. S. Radha Krishnan, TCDAV students celebrated their day with vigour and enthusiasm on 5th September, 2014. The special day started with assembly organized in a different way. Our senior students took charge of prayers, speeches, thought and commands. Other students of junior classes felt excited to see their seniors in the appearance of teachers. Students of class XII took charge of all the classes as a mark of respect for their teachers and put in their best to get the best teacher award. In each wing the winners were declared for the best teacher award. On this occasion special cultural program was presented by the students of Classes XI and XII. It was anchored by Miss Nandani and Master Dheeraj Bansal
presided over by Mr. S. Bhaskar Kumar, Vice President of T.C.L. and Chairman of TCDAV. The program was also graced by the esteemed presence of distinguished guests Mr. Umanand Jha, Mr. Ajay Dwivedi and other LMC Members. The program started with the ceremonial welcome of the chief guest and other dignitaries followed by lighting of the lamp and a floral tribute to Dr. S. Radha Krishnan. Addressing the teachers Mr. Bhaskar appreciated teachers’ role in building a strong nation and invoked them to work for quality education to transform the students into responsible citizens of tomorrow. Principal, Mr. Jagdish Singh also threw light on the dedicated role of the teachers in shaping the life of students in today’s challenging scenario. In order to recognize their contribution gifts were given to all the T.C.D.A.V. staff by the chairman and other guests.
Vibrant dances, interesting games and a small skit were staged in a well-coordinated manner, which arrested every single heart in the audience.

Participated in CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition 2014 at Kothari
International School, Noida and qualified for CBSE National Level Science Exhibition and received
certificate from CBSE.
Participated in BEE-State level Painting Competition on the
awareness of Energy Conservation -2014 held on 15/11/2014 under the
supervision of NTPC Limited, Lucknow and won consolation Prize
24 UP Battalian of Tatachem DAV Public School took part In Combine Annual Training Camp-97 (2014-15) held between 27th September 2014 to 6th October 2014 in Moradabad.

TCDAVIANS Sparkle at National Level
Ten students from TCDAV participated in National Wushu Championship organized by CBSE for the first time at Godwin Public School, Meerut . Manav Singh won silver medal Under-14 below 55 kg weight. Himanshu Soni won bronze medal below 55 Kg category in Under-14 group. Sarabjeet Kaur won Silver Medal below 55 Kg category. Master Adarsh Chaudhary participated in DAV National Sports 2014-15 organised at DAV Jaipur and made school proud by winning Bronze medal in under 19(boys) Discus throw competition. Principal, Mr. Jagdish Singh congratulated the students on this stupendous success.
Yoga Session at TCDAV
- A way to Life
TCDAV hosted a yoga session on November 1, 2014
under the guidance of Yogacharya Shri Satyawan Ji
Maharaj. He shared his pearls of thoughts with
students and teachers and demonstrated various
asanas and described their benefits. Shri Satyawan Ji
Maharaj also enlightened students about Bharat
Swachhta Abhiyan. Shri Dayashankar Arya, District
Incharge Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Shri Tilak Singh Arya ,
Office In charge Bharat Swabhiman Trust were
among the other dignitaries present on this
occasion. At the end Principal, Mr. Jagdish Singh
expressed his gratitude and thanked the eminent
guests.
