Spectrum Books Consider a Range of Views
With the publication of The Meaning of the Millennium in 1977, InterVarsity Press launched
the first of its many “multiple views” books, now known collectively as the Spectrum series.
These Spectrum Multiview Books from IVP Academic offer a range of viewpoints on
academic topics about which Christians clearly disagree. In each book, proponents of major
positions have an opportunity to make their case, with each of the other contributors
offering a brief response. Books in the series range in topic from theology to science, from
practical ministry to philosophy.
