Spectralink is proud to announce further changes to the Spectralink DECT handset portfolio. With continued dedication to delivering the reliability you have come to know from Spectralink, they have added updated functionality and new handsets to even better meet end user needs. Spectralink has released six new handsets. The handsets include all the most important features of their predecessors, but add new improved functionality such as:

• Software Updates over the Air (SUOTA), which makes updating the handsets easy and fast from a central location

• Shift replaceable batteries which allows mobile workers to be available at any time, as their handset batteries are always fully charged.

Spectralink is pleased to announce the availability of dual chargers for the newly refreshed DECT handsets; Spectralink models 7202, 7212, 7622, 7642, 7722, and 7742. There are two new dual chargers. One charger is designed for the Spectralink 7202, 7212, 7622 and 7642 handsets. The other is for the Spectralink 7722 and 7742 handsets. The dual chargers concurrently charge the battery within a handset (in the front slot) and a separate, spare battery (in the back slot), as shown in the images below.

Together with the new shift-replaceable battery feature, this allows 24x7 handset use because there is always a charged battery available. And it is now easy to swap the spare, charged battery with the one in the handsets when necessary.
