DAY 1: MONDAY, AUGUST 24, 2020

Travel to Athens, Greece

Overnight flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Athens International Airport.

DAY 2: TUESDAY, AUGUST 25, 2020 Arrival into Athens

Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, we will meet our motorcoach to transfer us to the hotel in Athens where you’ll check in for a four­night stay in the Cradle of Civilization! A welcome dinner is included this evening. (D)

DAY 3: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26, 2020

Touring in Athens This morning, we will have breakfast at our hotel, followed by a guided tour of Athens, introducing us to the highlights of this bustling ancient capital, home to the world’s first democracy. Pass by the Olympic Stadium, Syntagma Square, and the Arch of Hadrian. View the sixth century Temple of Zeus. See the classi­cally inspired Old Royal Palace, home of the Hellenic Parliament, and drive through the Plaka district. Set off on a walking tour around the ancient Acropolis, site of the Parthenon, Temple of Athena Nike, and Erechtheion. Enjoy a typical Greek lunch at a nice Taverna. Afternoon is free for you to explore Athens on own. This evening, transfer to old town Plaka where we will enjoy live Greek music (the Bouzouki!), folk dances and dinner at a local taverna. DAY 4: THURSDAY, AUGUST 27, 2020 Touring in Corinth

Board our private motorcoach and begin our tour of the Peloponnesus, the famous peninsula of Southern Greece. First, we will cross the engineering wonder – the Corinth Canal – constructed in 1893 and was cut from sheer rock. Visit Ancient Corinth. Then, we will tour the magnificent 4th century BC theater in the ancient religious and heal­ing center of Epidaurus. Next on our agenda, is a visit to the military stronghold of Mycenae, which was a major center of Greek civilization during the 2nd century BC for a guided tour of the archaeological ruins. Along our route, we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue our journey and we will again cross the engi­neering wonder – the Corinth Canal — and return to Athens. (B, L, D)

DAY 5: FRIDAY, AUGUST 28, 2020

Touring in Delphi This morning we drive to Delphi where the ancient Greeks consulted the Oracle of Delphi beneath the shadow of Mount Parnassus. Legend says that through the High Priestess Pythia, Apollo spoke to rulers, generals and commoners alike. Lunch in Delphi. The Archaiologikos Choros (Sacred Precincts) formed a square in the heart of Delphi and were con­sidered the “touchstone” between gods and mortals. The Mouseion Delfon (Museum of Delphi) contains an excellent collection of archaic and classical relics. We return to our hotel in Athens for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 6: SATURDAY, AUGUST 29, 2020 Embark on our Greek Isles Cruise

This morning we would visit one of the best Museums in Europe, the NEW Acropolis Museum a really breathtaking and inspiring surrounding! Lunch at local taverna and transfer to the port of Pireaus for embarkation on board the cruise ship CELESTYAL CRYSTAL, our home for the next seven nights! (B, L, D)

DAY 7: SUNDAY, AUGUST 30, 2020 Port of Call: Kusadasi (8am­7pm)

Dock at the port of Kusadasi (Turkey). Disembark as we set out on an included shore excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus. Afternoon at leisure for you to explore the big shopping at Kusadasi! (B, L, D)

DAY 8: MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2020

Port of Call: Rhodes (8am­6pm)

All day dock at the cosmopolitan island of Rhodes, where Ancient Greece meets with Medieval times and modern cosmopolitan tourism. Our includ­ed tour takes you through the island to the ancient Acropolis of Lindos. On your way back you will be taken on a walking tour into the Medieval town. Afternoon at leisure; walk right across the port into the enchanting Old Town of Rhodes which takes centre stage today as we walk in the footsteps of the medieval knights who conquered this land. DAY 9: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2020 Port of Call:  Santorini (7am­2am)

Indulge in the laid­back island life of Santorini! Begin your exploration of the island on your own or take one of the optional shore excursions to the vil­lage of Oia or the excavations at Akrotiri. The cruise ship remains in Santorini until 2:00am giving you the opportunity to have a taste of Santorini nights! (B, L, D)

DAY 10: WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2020 Port of Call:  Heraklion, Crete (8am­11:30pm)

All day dock at Heraklion, the capital of the largest Greek island, Crete, where mythology and history meet Zorba the Greek! Our INCLUDED guided tour will visit the ruins of Knossos, where King Minos imprisoned the Minotaur in a labyrinth, according to the myth. (B, L, D)

DAY 11: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2020 Port of Call:  Milos and Mykonos (8:30am ­ overnight) MILOS 8.30am ­ 1.30pm. Enjoy some free time in the former home of the famous Venus de Milo to indulge in the mouth­watering watermelon pies of Milos island and soak up the glori­ous sunshine in the turquoise waters of one of its many beaches. You may also opt to take an optional shore excursion, tour of the island and the Catacombs. MYKONOS arrive 7pm. Later, dock at the mountainous island of Mykonos with its characteris­tic windmills and dazzling white houses. Mykonos – its labyrinthine lanes, lined with white­washed cottages and tumbling cerise bougainvillea, are yours to explore as you soak up the sunshine and laid­back island atmosphere. The cruise ship will overnight in Mykonos for you to experience the island’s vibrant nightlife! (B, L, D)

DAY 12: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2020

Port of Call:  Mykonos (sail away at 7pm) Wake up to spellbinding Mykonos. You will have a whole day to do just as you please. Relax in the sun on one of the beautiful golden sandy beaches or take an optional shore excursion boat ride to see the archaeological ruins on the nearby island of Delos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inhabited since the third millennium BC, Delos was known in ancient times as a sacred sanctuary and, later as the birthplace of the twin gods, Apollo and Artemis. (B, L, D)

DAY 13: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2020
