MODULE CART SPECIFICATIONSCOMPONENTS LIST

PROFILES Lightweight anodised aluminium profiles 48mm x 22.5mm with a general wall thickness of 1.5mm.

Designed to secure panels from 6mm to 18mm thickness enabling the cart to be configured using lightweight composite aluminium / polymer panels.

BUFFERS The Medstor Module Cart is equipped with four non-marking Polyolefin polymer alloy bumpers clipped and screwed onto the fully welded base structure.

DRAWER SIDES / HYGI CRADLEDrawers are complete with a pair of Accuride steel telescopic runners fitted to formed and coated mild steel tray support cradles, which carry the system baskets / trays.

The telescopic runners hold up to a maximum weight loading of 30kgs. Telescopic runners allow full withdrawal of the basket / trays to enable filling to the rear.

Wheel centre made of Polypropylene, Tread TENTEprene (thermoplastic rubber), grey non-marking, precision ball bearing.

3 x non-static1 x anti-static castor indicated by yellow centre.

BASE FRAMEFully welded mild steel 30mm x 30mm x 1.5mm rectangular box section, electrostatic coating, with fully enclosed protective base panel.

CASTORSAll mobile units are fitted with 125mm Tente castors manufactured to EN 12530. Castors are chosen for roll performance, movement noise, attrition and corrosion resistance.

ADVICEAvoid scrapers, hard surfacescrubbing brushes and abrasive cleaning materials.

MAINTENANCERegular cleaning of all components is recommended.

We understand the requirements for changes in infection prevention and control plus the introduction of new cleaning procedures and solutions is dynamic within the healthcare environment. Care is taken to reflect new/ additional procedures and solutions into our technical information and we encourage on going communication with all our stakeholders to ensure our product offers comply with the latest infection prevention and H & S recommendations.

As the original equipment manufacturer, products are designed and manufactured to BS/EN standards in materials proven best fit both functionally and environmentally suitable.

Disinfectants used within current hygiene protocols, at the manufacturers recommended dilutions, are safe for use on all components used within the Medstor Module range: Including and not limited to: ECOLAB ACTICHLOR PLUS, Clinell Sporicidal Wipes, Clinell Universal Sanitising Wipes, 6.0g CHLOR-CLEAN Tablets, 1.8g Effervescent Haz-Tab Tablets, Difficil- S Working Solution.Hydrogen Peroxide vapour and UVC light sanitation is also permissible for use.

Instruction:To detach for cleaning, remove the top drawer and remove the five M5 fixings on the underside of the Module Cart Top. Alternatively, remove the top drawer, unscrew the two rubber “stoppers” from the slide out top. This can then be removed.
