THREE GENERATIONS OF EXCELLENCEFor 60 years the Acton family has
brought creativity to life. Their handiwork
at Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm,
Six Flags, and Sea World has created
lifelong memories for young and old
alike. An ability to create transformative
environments has garnered them
custom work at famous hotels and
themed restaurants allowing them to
leave their mark across the globe.
Hubert Acton is the family patriarch. After graduating from high
school, he served in the Army Air Corps as a belly gunner
during World War II. After the war was over, he spent time in
England and Ireland learning electronics. Upon returning to the
United States, he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps in
the plastering trade. He moved to California from Oklahoma
three different times, before finally having enough work to settle
in the Sunshine State. After several more years of independent
plastering work, he went to work for Disneyland. His tenure with
Disney ended up lasting for 18 years. Deciding to go back out
on his own after his successful run with Disney, he started Acton
Animation with his son, Kenneth Acton.
Along with further theme park projects along the West Coast, he
was instrumental in the building of Carowinds in Charlotte, North
Carolina, Astroworld the Six Flags theme park in Houston, and
Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia. He passed away in 1995.
Hubert and Kenneth had quite a storied history together and
have creations in the most celebrated theme parks in the world.
HUBERT ACTON STARTED ACTON ANIMATION IN 1967
Ken Acton, the second generation in this
creative family also began his adult life in the service of his
country. Just like his father before him, upon leaving the
Air Force in 1966, Ken followed in his father’s footsteps by
going to work at Disneyland. It wasn’t long before his father
convinced Ken to join in forming the new family venture,
Acton Animation.
In 1976, Hubert suffered a heart attack while working on
the Kings Dominion amusement park in Richmond, Virginia.
Ken rushed to his father’s side and assumed responsibility
for finishing the project while his father recuperated. It took
a whole year to complete, but both were able to return to
California after the park opened.
After the death of his father in 1995, Ken decided to relocate
Acton Animation to Las Vegas, Nevada. There was a
significant demand in the ever-changing gaming industry for
the imaginative designs, which the Acton Family has become
known for.
Heading up the third generation and continuing the Acton
legacy is Scott Acton. A successful entrepreneur who makes
his home in Las Vegas, Scott began his career working for
his father when he was only sixteen. After such a long family
history of doing projects for Disney, Scott decided to attend
“Disney University” where he learned the business and
leadership skills necessary to build a successful career.
In 2002, Scott decided to start his own company, naming
it after the most famous fountain in the world - the Trevi
Fountain in Rome, Italy. Trevi Manufacturing began as a
fledgling start-up with just two employees and revenues
of only $350,000. By 2004, it had grown to become a
manufacturer of cast stone products for home, garden, and
commercial construction generating $12 million in annual
revenues. That’s a 34-fold increase in only two years. As a
result of this success, in 2005 Scott was named the U.S.
Small Business Administration’s Small Business Person of the
Year for the State of Nevada.

SCOTT W. ACTONScott Acton is a successful entrepreneur who, as a third generation craftsman, transformed a
fledgling start-up with two employees into a $12 million manufacturing company that he sold in
2007. Consequently, he was named U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2005 Small Business
Person of the Year in the State of Nevada.
Scott’s early work makes up several landmarks across North America, including parts of Knott’s
Berry Farm as well as many parts of Universal Studios and Disney. His first project in Las Vegas
was the pirate ships that provide Treasure Island its iconic presence on The Las Vegas Strip.
After many years in Las Vegas he has been involved in many of the new casinos in Las Vegas
and Macau.
LUKE JACKSONInspired by his father’s success as an accomplished ironworker and construction
businessman, Luke decided at an early age to follow in his footsteps and pursue a career
in commercial construction. Luke attended Boise State University, graduating with high
honors with a B.S. in Construction Management. During his degree program Luke interned at
NASA as a project engineer.
After graduation from Boise State, Luke was recruited by McCarthy Building Companies and
worked on some of the firm’s highest profile projects in the Southwest United States. Luke’s
training and experience at McCarthy earned him a position in The Venetian Development
Department for the construction of the $4 billion dollar mega-project, “The Palazzo”. As an
assistant project manager, Luke facilitated and managed the construction of projects such as Barneys
New York ($39 million), Walgreens at Palazzo ($9 million) and First Food and Bar ($12 million).
TIM McGARRY Tim McGarry is a lifelong Las Vegas resident. He is a 1982 graduate of UNLV, and obtained
a law degree from the University of San Diego in 1985. He clerked for the Honorable Joseph

attorney with Schreck, Jones, Bernhard, Woloson, & Godfrey. In 1989, he joined the partnership
Netzorg, Raleigh, Hunt, & McGarry – followed in 1992 by Raleigh, Hunt, & McGarry.

WE START WITH THE FINISH IN MIND Forté operates with a smaller, hands-on team. This cohesive structure results in
superior workmanship and economical solutions.
We remove layers of administration and costly mark-ups associated with
dependence on numerous subcontractors. Forté assumes responsibility for the
entire project and executes most of the work with its own resources, yielding
efficient planning, fabrication, installation and quality control. Owners retain more
control over design quality and scheduling. It is simply a better value.
A DIFFERENT OWNER-CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIPForté’s success is built on innovation, quality, safety, service and teamwork. Our
client’s complete satisfaction is always achievable, so we make an equal effort
to build exceptional products and client relationships.
In the early stages of a project’s development, we lend Forté’s entire organizational
and project management experience to our clients. We assist owners in exploring
project feasibility before committing significant financial resources to extensive
programming and schematic design.
FURTHERING THE DESIGNWe offer owner representation to guarantee the effective planning and execution
of complex projects. We can introduce interior design firms with specialty
experience, which is appropriate to the owner’s project. Forté will also work with
the owner’s selected designer.
Forte’s unique experience enhances the design effort and makes possible
cutting edge exploration through the analysis of different materials and design
solutions to achieve the most creative project solution possible.
