With the PowerGun, a unique suction lance installed on theabrasive hose is partially submerged into a bagof abrasive or optional abrasive container. Thissuction-blast tool is easy to transport, use, andmaintain. Connect the unit to compressed-airand abrasive sources. Blasting begins when theoperator depresses a lever on the gun. ThePower Gun is used with most expendableabrasives. And the operator must wear suitableNIOSH-approved respiratory protection.

SAFETY EQUIPMENTNIOSH-Approved Respirator for Abrasive BlastingClemco’s newest model of type CE abrasive-blastrespirator is the Apollo 600, offering safety, com-fort, and performance. The 600 is easily recogniz-able by its safety red-orange color, making ithighly visible on the job site. It features the

largest view window in the industry, providingthe wearer a commanding view of the work sur-face and broad-scope peripheral vision. The 600is more comfortable to wear, easier to main tain,and more durable than its predecessor-model,Apollo 60. The rental industry prizes it for its websuspension, making it more rental-friendly. Andthe cape and inner collar are machine-washable.Its approvals: NIOSH-approved as a type CE con-tinuous-flow respirator, ANSI Z89-2003 approvalas a category G hard hat, OSHA's APF 1000 ratingfor dust. Its NIOSH-approval covers use of ourCMS-3 carbon monoxide monitor-alarm, whichcan be mounted inside the helmet. The 600 hasbeen third-party tested and is ANSI-recognizedwith a noise-reduction rating of 8dB. A blast res-pirator is an OSHA-required form of personal pro-tection equipment for abrasive blast operators.

DEHUMIDIFICATIONClemco dehumidification equipment is ideal forthe rental market. Available in several sizes to suitapplication needs: 3000, 5000, and 7500 cfm.They are simple to set up, of rugged construc-tion, galvanized for humidity resistance, and fork-lift portable.
