Welcome LetterBenefits management can be a maddening exercise these days, almost akin to working a jigsaw puzzle. You think you have all the right pieces, until you realize something very important is missing. Or you do have all the pieces, but the shapes and edges don’t quite come together to create the right picture.

We understand those frustrations, and that’s why we selected the theme “Assembling the right pieces for maximum benefits value” for Benefits Forum & Expo 2011.

Increasingly it is employees who must help us assemble the right benefit pieces, because they are the ones who ultimately assign value. Offering a variety of high-quality benefits helps employees create their own personal value statements, which in turn drives the organization’s human capital

management strategy. Individual benefits are not the only pieces of the puzzle, however. The picture is not complete without benefit vendors that are willing to service and support their products, and the brokers and consultants who can advise on their assembly.

All the pieces are here in Dallas. Our workshop sessions will convey vast experience from presenters on key subjects such as health and wellness benefits, retirement and financial education, legal and regulatory trends and employee engagement. In the exhibit hall you can meet leading vendors across the full spectrum of benefits, and in networking sessions you will compare experiences and solutions with other benefit decision makers and advisers. But that’s not all. Some of the most

noticeable pieces we’ve assembled for our program in Dallas this year are our General Session presenters. Among them are author and consultant Shawn Achor, who will speak to us about positive psychology for success and productivity at work, and benefit communications guru Jennifer Benz, whose passion will be on display in a highly interactive presentation sure to spark discussion. Moreover, we’ll hear from – and have an opportunity to meet – Dallas Cowboy Hall of Fame quarterback Roger Staubach, a highly successful businessman and employer in his own right.

The right pieces, positioned in the right way, at the right time is what defines a benefits program that achieves maximum value. We think you’ll agree that’s also what defines Benefits Forum & Expo 2011.

All the pieces come together in Dallas
