APACHE LOW CAMPOUT SCHEDULE 2020-2021
May 17 to 21, 2021 – (4nights)
THIS CAMP OUT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO ASPEN CAMPGROUND AT WOODS CANYON LAKE.
From Payson, AZ follow Route 260 East for about 30 miles. After passing the sign that
points to Christopher Creek you will travel a long steep hill. At the top of the hill
look to the left for a sign that points to Woods Canyon Lake & Forest Rd 300. Turn left
and follow the blacktop road until it turns right at Forest Rd 105 (do not travel on the
dirt road). Continue on the blacktop road passing many campgrounds and a dump station.
Aspen campground is shortly after the dump station on the left. Stop at the gate to pay
fee. $13.50/night with senior pass. Tell them you are with the LoWs. Cash or check only.
NO CAMPOUTS DURING THE SUMMER
Please bring firewood for nightly campfire. Fellowship each morning at the fire or ramada. Please bring your beverage of choice. Charcoal fire will usually be the 3rd night for grilling. Club meeting on the 2nd day of campout at 11am. Potluck held 2nd day of campout at 1pm.
Tonto National Forest passes to visit campgrounds along the Salt and Verde Rivers and Lakes in the Tonto National Forest can be purchased online at www.fs.usda.gov/tonto . For those over 62 who wish to purchase a Golden Age card you still need to go to a Forest Service office or national park

July 12 – 16, 2021 Sheboygan County Marsh Campground (BROUGHTON PARK), W7039 County Hwy SR Elkhart Lake, WI 53020 920-876-2535 Take Hwy 23 to Hwy 67 turn N to Elkhart Lake. At the 4-way stop turn L(W) onto county road J. Follow J through town. Continue on J for 3.5 miles C/G on the left.
If you are coming from the west, take the 151 EAST exit (southern
end of Fond du Lac) then take the Hwy 23 East exit towards
Plymouth. When you come to the 4 lane Hwy take P to the left.
Follow P to the stop sign and turn left. Take the second road to the
left and that will be the road to the campground. Bring your appetite
as Wednesday night we will head into St. Anna’s to eat at Schwarz’s
Supper Club. YUM YUM!!!!!!!!!! Do not make a reservation ahead
of time as you will NOT get your money back if you do have to
cancel. We can go there and register at Three Men and a Grill Bar.
August 10 – 14, 2021 Grant River, US Army Corps of Engineers

From Downtown Shawano follow Green Bay Street EAST to Airport Drive, then NORTH. This will be our chili dump weekend. Cost is $20 a night.
We will NOT be able to use any of their dishes, coffee pot, utensils as they are locked up due to Covid. We can still use the fireplace and the wood.
