ABOUT SPEC The Sardar Patel Education Campus (SPEC) was established by the Tirupati Foundation Trust (TFT), Bakrol in the year 2007 as an educational campus. Innovation, excellence and quality are the driving forces at the campus and that has translated the vision of the TFT into a reality over a short period of time. Today the campus vibrates with not only class curricular activities but also with myriad of activities like conventions, symposia, conferences, student competitions and cultural activities.WHY SPCP?Sardar Patel College of Pharmacy is one of the premier institutions dedicated to providing quality education in a fully-integrated, multi cultural environment. The College is committed to achieving excellence in the academic development of student in to professionals. It offers Bachelors and Masters program in Pharmacy.

INFRASTRUCTURE & FACILITIES AT SPEC

SPEC has excellent infrastructure facilities with well equipped separate

Undergraduate and Post Graduate, Classrooms, Ultra modern Laboratories,

Auditorium, Seminar hall, Machine rooms, Workshops, Industrial

Instruments Facility, Computer Centre, Library, Cafeteria, Stationary store,

Animal House, and Medicinal Plants Garden.

TECHNO SAVY CLASS ROOMS:

The Class rooms are spacious, ventilated and equipped with multimedia and

audiovisual equipments. The classrooms are designed as such to provide

maximum interaction between students and faculties. Each classroom has

facility to use LCD, overhead projector and computer. Entire teaching is

done with the method of audio-visual system making it more impactful on

the mind of students

ULTRA MODERN LABORATORIES

SPEC has well equipped laboratories with highly sophisticated instruments;

which satisfies the practical and research need for students of SPEC.

AUDITORIUM/SEMINAR HALL

One of the architectural delights of SPEC is its air-

conditioned multi-purpose auditorium/seminar hall. To

maintain flow of knowledge our SPEC has a spacious and

acoustic auditorium.

MACHINE ROOM/WORKSHOP

INDUSTRIAL INSTRUMENTS FACILITYIt houses Tablet punching machine, Dissolution

apparatus, Disintegration apparatus, Tablet coating

machine, pH meter, Ampule sealing machine, Bottle

Washing machine, Bottle sealing machine, Muffle

Furnace, Double cone blender, Respinometer, Capsule

Filling machine, Aseptic room with Laminar Air Flow

and U.V.Cabinet, Deep Freezer, and Digital Oven.

CENTRAL INSTRUMENT LABORATORY

It houses sophisticated analytical instruments viz. HPLC,

UV-visible Spectrophotometer, High Vacuum Driers,

Centrifuges, Nephloturbidometer, photoflorimeter,

projection microscope, Rotary evaporators and several

other instruments. Instruments are validated and

periodically calibrated.

LEARNING RESOURCESUTILIZATION CENTRE

LIBRARY & COMPUTER CENTRE:

As on today library has SPEC has collection of 10000

books with various titles. SPEC has subscribed to all

national and international journals facility as well as E-

Journals from DELNET. The computer centre is

equipped with 140 branded personal computers

adequately supported by broadband connectivity with 10

MBPS speed for internet browsing, available to the It is

also equipped with a wide range of licensed system

ANIMAL HOUSEThe Animal House of SPEC caters to the needs of

laboratory animals for the experimental classes, practical

examinations and research program of various deparments.

The species available are wistar albino rats, albino mice and

guinea pigs. Our Animal house facilities are approved by

Committee for the purpose Of control And Supervision On

experiments On Animals (CPCSEA), New Delhi, Govt. Of

MEDICINAL PLANTS GARDEN & MUSEUM

The botanical garden of SPEC consists of various kinds of

medicinal herbs like shatavari, Tylopphora, Nerium,

Thevetia, Apamarg, Vinca, etc. Students are made to

understand importance of plants including medicinal one in

their life. SPEC also comprises of a museum which consists

of around 70 medicinal plants on display to show the dried

forms of all important medicinal drugs.

CAFETERIA

It is a well known fact that food acts as a energizer to young minds. To stimulate the minds of our students a modern canteen is provided which provides hygienic food, snacks and beverages. The canteen is open for all days during academic hours of SPEC.

INDUSTRIAL VISITS & PLACEMENT CELL

SPEC vision is to forge a strong relationship with the

Industries, which will nurture a fountainhead of young and

bright stars of the future. Our students have visited several

reputed industries in the past like Torrent, Kheda, J B

Pharmaceuticals, Ankaleswar: Ravi Pharmaceuticals,

Khambat: and P N B Pharmaceutical, Khambat. Placement

cell is one of the assets of SPEC. It is one of the important

aspects of the professional institutions like SPEC. It has a

well structured and systematic process of fitting together

students' career aspirations with corporate expectations.
