The EMB 145 MP (Maritime Patrol) is a flexible, reliable and affordable jet for coping with Coastal and Blue Water threats. It features a new generation multi-mode radar and a flexible sensor management system in the ERJ 145 regional jet – a platform that has more than 1,100 aircraft flying worldwide and more than 14 million flight hours. This is a perfect blend of effectiveness and economics to meet the operational and logistic requirements of defense forces throughout the world today.

The EMB 145 MP is capable of carrying out the following missions: Maritime Surveillance (MS) Anti-Ship Surveillance and Targeting (ASST) Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Anti-Surface Ship Warfare (ASuW) Search and Rescue (SAR) Law enforcement (Anti-smuggling, Anti-piracy, Anti-drug) Fisheries patrol Sovereignty, Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) surveillance Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) Communication Intelligence (COMINT)

The EMB 145 MP is capable of flying at high speeds, providing an excellent reaction time for accomplishing Search and Rescue missions, where time is crucial to saving lives. The EMB 145 MP is also capable of flying slowly and at low altitudes, and standing within the operational envelope to accomplish SAR, ASuW and ASW tasks.

For operational missions, the EMB 145 MP can be fitted with a Stores Management System, torpedoes and air-to-surface missiles assembled in hard points.
