H.E. MARK GITENSTEIN US Ambassador to RomaniaBefore becoming U.S. Ambassador to Romania, Mark Gitenstein was a non-resident senior fellow in governance studies at the Brookings Institution, a partner at the Washington office of the multi-national firm Mayer Brown LLP, and a Senate staff member for 17 years - both for Senator Biden as Committee Counsel and as Chief Counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee. He is the author of Matters of Principle, and has been selected by his peers several times for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America. He holds a bachelors degree from Duke University and a law degree from Georgetown University. Ambassador Gitensteins great grandparents emigrated from Romania to the U.S. in the late 19th century, making him the first U.S. Ambassador to Romania with Romanian heritage. He is married to Elizabeth (Libby) Gitenstein and has three children and two grandsons.

RONALD BINKOFSKI General Manager, Microsoft RomaniaRonald Binkofski, General Manager of the Microsoft Romanian Subsidiary oversees since October 2010 Microsofts operations in Romania and Moldova, employing close to 400 people within three operational organizations Sales & Marketing, Customer Service and Product Development. Ronald also helps steer Microsofts activities in the region as a member of the Central and Eastern Europe Board. Apart from being responsible for Microsofts Romania business results, Ronald is concentrated on ensuring a positive experience for Microsoft customers and partners in both countries. In that role, he engages with Government Elites, Business Leaders and Community Members, and also invests a significant part of his time for developing talents in Microsofts organizations in Romania and abroad. Prior to current assignment, for the last 5 years Ronald Binkofski was Operational Director of Microsoft Poland overseeing subsidiarys entire operations and leading the organization through a significant period of successful operational enhancements. Prior to joining Microsoft, Binkofski run his own Business Consulting company focused on IT and Insurance verticals, supporting several leading System Integrators in their operations in the area of central IT systems in Poland and abroad as well as supporting foreign Insurance takeover projects in Poland.

Ronald Binkofski started his career in high tech with Software AG, Germany. During his almost 10 years there, he held numerous positions, including responsibility for Salesand Marketing inCentral and Eastern Europe as Area Lead & Head of the Representation Office in Russia. A bi-national of Poland and Germany, Binkofski is passionate of golf and tennis and is guitar player. Ronald loves to spend his free time with his wife, his son, friends and two adopted dogs.

HRH CROWN PRINCESS MARGARITA OF ROMANIACrown Princess Margarita is the eldest daughter of TM King Michael and Queen Anne of Romania. She was born in Lausanne, Switzerland on 26th March 1949 and was educated in Italy, England, Scotland and Geneva, where she completed the French Baccalaureat at a French Lycee. The Princess is married to HRH Prince Radu of Romania. In 1974, she graduated from Edinburgh University with a Master of Arts (MA) Honours degree in Sociology, Political Science and Public International Law. Following university, Princess Margarita worked for a number of British universities, specialising in medical and public health policy. From 1977 to the late eighties, she joined the United Nations System, where she focused on developing health policy recommendations and preventive policy projects. She worked at WHO, UNFPA, FAO and the IFAD. With the demise of the communist regime in 1989, Princess Margarita traveled to to Romania for the first time in January 1990 to devote herself to the plight of its people. Since then, the Crown Princess has been involved in a series of public, international and official events. In 1990, together with HM King Michael, she founded the Princess Margarita of Romania Foundation to help and support members of community in greatest need. The charity and its work has been her prime focus. In October 2000, Princess Margarita was honoured with a Congressional Certificate of Recognition for her invaluable service and support to the children of Romania. HRH The Princess Margarita of Romania holds the Grand Cross of the Order of Carol I of Romania and the Magnam Crucem from the Sovereign Order of Malta.

BIANCA IOAN Marketing Director AsebussBianca Ioan has more than 12 years experience in business education, being constantly involved in Executive MBA Program related activities, during the collaboration with prestigious US partner universities. She successfully coordinates the unique Joint International Program with Kennesaw State University- Atlanta, as well as residency sessions and other events with participation of American professors. Throughout her career, Bianca worked in diverse cross functional teams, giving her a keen sense of the importance and value of cultural diversity. In 2008 she launched the EMBA Alumni Evening events - a series of interactive presentations with key business leaders, invited to share their opinions and ideas about interesting managerial issues and concepts, based on their expertise in various industries. Bianca has a key role in promoting and raising ASEBUSS and Executive MBA program awareness through successful partnerships in order to support innovative business initiatives that highlight alumni success stories as well as strengthen the relationship between the school and the business community. She works closely with companies interested in supporting high-potential managers in the Executive MBA program and is actively connected with HR Club Romania, ASEBUSS being one of 2011 annual partners of the professional association. Currently, Bianca is involved in designing career and mentoring support activities and programs for the EMBA alumni network. Bianca holds a BA in Economics from Academy of Economic Studies and an Executive MBA degree from ASEBUSS in partnership with University of Washington, Seattle, USA. She has various trainings in leadership, PR, team-building and marketing on-line and was recently certified in Hogan assessment methodology. Bianca Ioan is a member of ASEBUSS Advisory Board.

VIOLETA CIUREL President and CEO Axa Life Insurance RomaniaVioleta has developed activity in business as well as in the educational field, in the largest University of Economics (Academy of Economic Studies) in Bucharest Romania where she is presently full Professor. She worked for ING Group between 1997-2010 in different jobs in Romania and The Netherlands. She started as Marketing and Training sales force Director at ING Life Insurance, followed by CEO of the company and Executive Director, Retail Distribution and Insurance ING Romania for four years. In 2004 she moved to Amsterdam to become the General Manager of the Global Retirement Services, followed by General Manager European and International Affairs and since 2008 - Regional CEO Greenfields and Business Development Insurance Central Europe, all within ING Group. Since September 2010 she joined AXA Group to become President and CEO AXA Life Insurance Romania. Violeta graduated International Business and Economics Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest, Romania, she got Ph.D. in Economics in 1992, followed leadership development programs at Harvard Business School (1994), Durham Business School (1997) and University of Reading (1993) in UK and INSEAD in 2007 and several business courses at ING Business School. In 2000, she got LIMRA Leadership Institute designation in US. Violeta was Secretary General and President of the Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies in Romania since 1995 until she moved to Amsterdam in 2004. During 2003-2004 she started and chaired LIMRA Geographic Committee for Romania. She was involved in educational programs for financial education. Violeta performed consulting activities for companies, international organizations, assistance for different governments for the pension reforms in emerging markets from all continents and was involved in European projects for pensions; she is author and co-author of 11 economic and business books, over 250 articles published in Romania, US, Switzerland, Greece, Austria, Korea, significant participation at international fora, conferences and seminars in Romania and abroad; for more than two years she worked with the European insurance industry in close connection with the European Commission for European legislation in financial industry and with US institutions for a regulatory equivalence in financial area. She was awarded several professional awards for supporting the development of the insurance sector in Romania and for promoting insurance organizations on the Central and Eastern European markets. Violeta was involved in the Women International Network, Division Amsterdam during 2005-2010.

MDLINA BLAN Managing Partner / Senior Consultant and Trainer Hart Human Resource ConsultingMdlina has more than 10 years experience as a consultant in areas such as: recruitment and selection, assessment centers, psychometric assessments, 360 feedback and development workshops for highly skilled specialists, middle managers and top managers. ZSOLT FEHER Director for International Affairs Assessment Systems HungaryZsoltgraduated from Szechenyi Istvan University Economist Faculty (Hungary). Having worked for Kraft Foods International in Rye Brook, New York and Ernst & Young in Budapest, Hungary, he has advised clients all across Asia Pacific, Europe and North America about various issues on finance and business consulting. Between 2003 and 2010 he has been engaged by JCI to oversee the development, growth and expansion of the Chamber movement in Europe and since he took over he has expanded the network into 10 new countries (Serbia, Romania, Portugal etc.) and has substantially increased the overall membership. Zsolt has extensive and almost unique experience in international conference organization, from conferences in Africa to right across Europe with anything from 1000 to 10,000 delegates. A competent negotiator, Zsolt has mediate and delivered agreements in UK, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Denmark, South Africa. He has also designed and presented training courses for organizations in the areas of Goal Setting, Leadership Skills, Presentation Skills, Project Management and Entrepreneurial skills, all across the globe from Brunei to Guatemala, in class room style training and also in Elearning format.

CAMELIA UCU President Class LivingyRecognized year after year among the top successful women in Romania, Mrs Camelia Sucu has been nominated as member of the international association of female entrepreneurs Leading Women of the World and granted an award as the most successful business women in 2006. Beginning 1993, together with a partener she founded Mobexpert, a furniture retail company, although a part of her always remained with her first passion, the medical profession. Since 1993 up to date Mobexpert became Romanian leading company in furniture retail, production, distribution, comprises more than 30 entities with 5000 employees. Following the increasing demand of Romanian clients and the trends on the international furniture market, in 1994 was developed the luxury brand of the Group, Class Living. This brand commercializes classical and contemporary furniture meant for a sophisticated, advised consumers. The company is specialized in small, big and very big projects, and began to pay special attention in accessories to match the furniture and develop a consistent concept. Although Mrs. Sucu is very close to her furniture business, she has interests also in other areas of development and she is continuously expanding domains such as: real estate investments, manufacturing accessories, but most of all she is currently dedicating her time and resources to building a hospital. Medicine is one of her early passions, she graduated Carol Davila University of General Medicine in Bucharest, and practiced at Victor Babes Hospital in Bucharest for 3 years as general physician in early 90.

RALUCA VAN STADEN Professor, Senior Researcher and Head of the Laboratory of Electrochemistry PATLAB Bucharest, National Institute of Research for Electrochemistry and Condensed Matter, RomaniaRaluca received her B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry in 1991, and 1997 from University of Bucharest, Romania. Also, she received a B.Sc. in piano and musical education and a M.Sc. in compositional style and language from the Academy of Music, Bucharest. From 1992, she held a permanent position of Assistant Professor in the University of Bucharest, Romania. She received numerous international and nation prizes: 1997 - Wilhelm Simon scholarship/World Laboratory, International Centre for Scientific Culture, Switzerland and in 1999 - young chemists awards/IUPAC. She received the Eminent Young Researcher Achievement award from the University of Pretoria (2001), the NRF President award (2002), and the Raikes Medal of the South African Chemical Institute (2002). Since 2008 she obtained 10 gold medals and prestigious special awards in international innovation and patent competitions in Geneva, Brussels, Moscow, Warsaw, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca. In 2010, at the 38e Salon International des Inventions de Geneve, 21-25 April 2010, Geneve, Switzerland, she was awarded World Intellectual Property Organization award for the best woman inventor. Raluca is the author and co-author of more than 165 articles in journals, eleven books and chapters in books, holding more than 900 citation of her work with an h-factor of 16, if one is excluding the autocitations. She serves on the Editorial Boards of prestigious international journals. She was invited for lectures in Europe, Africa (Pretoria), USA, Australia (Perth).

BEVERLY BAKER Director BBSeminarsBeverly Bakers background is in Psychology, Human Resources and Personal development. She is a trained psycho-therapist and has a MA in Human Resource Development. She has run her business for over 15 years and counts Microsoft and Kodak Corporations amongst her clientele. H.E. LAURIE S. FULTON US Ambassador to DenmarkLaurie S. Fulton was sworn in as U.S. Ambassador to Denmark on July 15, 2009 and presented her credentials to Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II on August 3, 2009. Prior to becoming Ambassador, Ms. Fulton was a Partner at Williams & Connolly LLP, where her law practice included complex civil litigation, government investigations and white-collar criminal defense. She was named as one of Washingtons Top Lawyers by Washingtonian Magazine in 2004. After confirmation by the U.S. Senate, Ms. Fulton served on the Board of Directors of the United States Institute of Peace from 2004-2008 and co-chaired the USIP International Advisory Council until July 2009.
