Representative of Children Who Are Homeless Years of Service: November 2015- Present GUAM ADVISORY PANEL FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES (GAPSD)

The GAPSD serves as the state advisory panel for students with disabilities as outlined in IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Act) and is composed of members who are involved in or concerned with the education of individuals with disabilities. Our mission is to advise and assist the Guam Department of Education in the development and implementation of policies related to the provision of services for children and youth with disabilities. Members are appointed by the Superintendent of Education. Meetings are held at least monthly.

Coordinator of Education of Homeless Children and Youth Years of Service: November 2015- Present GUAM STATE INTERAGENCY COORDINATING COUNCIL (GICC)

The GICC meets at least quarterly to advise and assist in the development and implementation of policies constituting the island-wide system of coordinated services, participating public and private agencies who are involved with Early Intervention Services for young children from birth to five years old, with or at risk for disabilities, and their families. Members are appointed by the Governor of Guam for four year terms.

Board Member I Member-At-large GUAM HOMELESS COALITION (GHC)

• Serve as member of Review Panel which conducts a review and ranking of all Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Program project applications submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); Review and revise related policies and procedures.

• Serve as committee member of annual Point-In-Time Count, an outreach event to count and survey homeless persons living on Guam. Data collected is used by homeless service providers, the community, and poi icy makers in developing programs and facilities to assist the homeless population and prevent homelessness.

The Guam Homeless Coalition (GHC) ensures that homeless individuals and families regain housing stability through the expansion and implementation of a comprehensive community-based housing delivery system to prevent and end homelessness in Guam. Interested individuals must apply to the GHC for membership.
