Speak the Vision "As it is written, I have made you a father of many

nations, before him who he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead and calls those things which be

not as though they were." Romans 4:17

This scripture refers to Abraham being called the father of many nations. This occurred long before he

had offspring. This teaches us several things about God. He creates through speech, His words have creative power, and what He speaks happens.

God creates through speech "By the Word of the Lord were the Heavens made, their starry host by the breath of His mouth." Psalms 33:6

When God decided to create the heavens and the earth He chose speech as his tool. He did not draw the

heavens nor did He have to physically create them.God spoke and the heavens were formed. He made a declaration- a command, for every person, place, and

thing He fashioned.

His Words Have Creative Power

"By faith we understand that the Universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not

made out of what is visible." Hebrews 11:3

What we see around us such as grass, trees, the sun, moon, and stars were not made from the things

that are visible.

It was not the soil that created the trees, or the atoms that hold the molecules of the grass together.

It was the Word of God!

What He Speaks, Happens

"For He spoke, and it came to be, He commanded, and it stood firm" Psalm 33:9

When you speak the Word of God, it will stand firm. It will not move in another direction, or go someplace else. We have the same creative power in our mouth that God has in His. If we speak according to His will, situations will change. We must however make sure that the words that we speak are things God agrees

with.
