Hyundai UK
An example of the high-profile events logistics and
management capabilities of the Camarilla Media team
was when it organised for the Hyundai World Rally Team
to make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Rally star Dani Sordo drove the Hyundai i20 WRC on the
Hillclimb and on the Forest Rally Stage, with invited guest
passengers. We then created a ‘sports swap’ PR stunt
involving Sordo’s team-mate Thierry Neuville and Nicola
Adams OBE (double Olympic gold medal winning boxer
and Hyundai UK ambassador) – which included the rally
car and a boxing ring. We organised all the logistics,
including travel, accommodation, passes, created a
minute-by-minute daily schedule, invited and hosted
media, etc.

Goodwood Festival of Speed
The Camarilla Media team helped the Goodwood Festival
of Speed’s key main partners exploit the event’s commercial
opportunities, with the aim of ensuring maximum exposure
and creating a desire for them to expand their already
sizeable investment in the event for the following year.
Companies we liaised with on behalf of the Goodwood Estate
included TAG Heuer, Mercedes Benz, McLaren, Porsche,
Peugeot and Volkswagen.

The Camarilla Media team helped Lord March raise
awareness of his Goodwood Flying School, developing a
‘Go-Solo in 15 Hours’ press and PR campaign.
Working closely with Goodwood Aviation General Manager
Rob Wildeboer, we used the flying school’s fleet of Cessna
172 Skyhawks and its historic Harvard T6, plus the venue’s
rich history (Sir Douglas Bader flew his last sortie out of
Goodwood) to gain significant media coverage in high-end
publications in very targeted regions.
