Completed June 2001, the first/top floor apartment holds a unique position

directly overlooking the beach and marina at Las Fuentas.

Three bedrooms with terraces over pools/gardens to rear, two bathrooms, large

lounge/dining area and large single terrace over beach to front. Full kitchen

Las Fuentes is a very small, relatively

undiscovered coastal resort, just north of

(and attached to) a slightly larger resort

called Alcocebre. Both places enjoy a

nature-protected location on the East

coast of Spain within the old Roman

state of Castellon.

The town, which sits between some impressive

hills and the Mediterranean is very popular with

Spanish people who keep boats here and enjoy

their weekend and holiday properties- coming

from Valencia, Tarragona and other major

cities within the region.

Both towns are dedicated to holiday and water

resort business, having excellent restaurants,

clubs, sport and entertainment. Apartment is here

There is very little industry within the area. The “Orange

Coast”, as it is known is famous for its orange and

almond plantations and also some of the World’s finest

ceramics.

Other features include:

Airports at Valencia (150K/1.25hrs.), Barcelona (210K/

2 hrs.) and local flights into Castellon (25 mins).

Water sports include windsurfing, fishing, diving, sailing

and motor boating. On land there are tennis clubs, horse-

riding and a good golf course- within 45mins drive.

Just 5 minutes from Junction 44 of the main Barcelona-

Valencia auto route Mediterranean A7 / E15 or the route

national CN340.

There are many shops, restaurants and bars around the

town and Marina

The charges are at a weekly rate, from Saturday to Saturday and

include rental of the whole apartment, including electricity, heating,

insurance, residence fees etc.:

High season- May- September- £700 per week.

Low season- October- April*- £550 per week.

*Easter period bookings are at the high season rates

This fee must be paid in advance.

There are two service charges: Laundry and cleaning requires a fee in advance of £100 per week. This is

paid as part of the contract prior to arrival, or if a local booking at the Local

Manager’s office -for each week used. There is a laundry/cleaning service

every week while the apartment is occupied.

A cash deposit of 150 Euros is required as security- to cover any damage, loss

or breakage. This must be given to the Local Managers at the start of any rental

period. This deposit will be returned - minus any replacement/repair fees at the

end of the rental period on return of keys.

Local Management is provided. We have contracted a property/immobilien

agency in Las Fuentes that will help manage your stay, provide keys and local

services. Their details and full range of services will be given to you on booking

confirmation.

Help. We can help with all sorts of advice on the area, travel by air or train, car

hire and of course local sights, places of interest etc. Please ask Jan. Once the

booking is confirmed several preparation arrangements are made for you and

your family locally in Las Fuentes.

Cancellations made over 8 weeks (2 months) before occupancy date have a

90% return.

But cancellation at 8 weeks or less before occupancy date is unlikely to

receive any rebate. At the discretion of the Owners.

Scuba Diving- from the apartment If you like to scuba dive, or have always thought it might be worth trying- you are in

for a treat in Alcocebre (often spelt in Catalan as Alcossebre). The apartment is just

3 minutes walk along the beach from the region’s best Dive Centre- Barracuda, run

by David, who is a very nice guy and speaks English well. So please feel free to go
