Project description

Puesta del Sol Elementary received a grant from the Bellevue Schools Foundation to fund a school-wide art workshop with Mexican artist Adriana Morales. The workshops took place in classrooms during January and February of this year.

Workshops inspiration The workshops were inspired by the work of Mexican mural artist Rodolfo Morales and Folk artist Pedro Linares and focused on the theme of UNITY.

Every student in Puesta Del Sol Elementary displayed their work on this year’s art fest

Students also had the opportunity to work on a collaborative project with our visiting artist during Art Fest

This collaborative artwork exercise reinforced the theme of “unity” And the kids had a blast working together!
