DEPORTE - SPORTS- Almost every kind of sport is practiced in Spain, but football is still the main sport.- The good weather allows to practice sport throughout the whole year.- We also practice winter sports (ski and snowboard mainly), but just for fun.

- Every region, city, village... has its own festivities.- Most of them involve animals (bulls), sports, food, fire, or criticism.- People from all around the world come to participate in the most famous ones.

Characterized by abundant plant-origin food (bread, pasta, rice, vegetables, legumes, fruits & nuts), the use of olive oil, moderate consumption of fish/seafood, dairy products (yogurt, cheese) and eggs, and small amounts of red meat. Mediterranean diet may also include
the intake of wine at meals.

Tapas are little dishes served in bars as appetizers. They range from complicated
dishes of calamares to simple dishes of olives, shrimp or almonds.

PARQUE DEL RETIRO- It's 1/3 of the size of Central Park in Manhattan (NYC).
- One of the 3 places in the world with a statue dedicated to the Devil (Turin, NYC).
PARK GÜELL
- Might have been built during the 1st century of the Modern Era.- It was used until 19th century.- Nowadays it is the landmark of Segovia.
- Built in 889 and rebuilt during the 11th century as a Moorish palace.- There is a waiting list for visiting it.
- 400 years of history.- You can find almost everything: animals, paintings, clothes,
magazines, music, antiques, books
