DescriptionIt is located on San Blas hill next to the San Servando Castle and across the Tajo River from the Alcázar. Although the building is newly built (mid-20th century), the Academia de Infantería was founded in Toledo in 1846. Among the many buildings which has housed the Academy, the most symbolic is the Alcázar. The military cadets were always a great source of income and social activity for the city, but that's all changed now that the Academy has moved to the outskirts. The current building is neo-imperial in style and made out of granite. Closed to the public.
