DIRECTOR’S MESSAGEDAVID MACDONALD

DAVID MACDONALD can be reached at [email protected]

Regarding the recent unfortunate devel-opments, we need you to know that the

MUFON Board of Directors and staff were totally blindsided by the events. Though in shock, they moved quickly to address the issue.

But through it all we have continued on our mission. We have emerged from the darkness, risen up from the valley of tears and survived the constant attacks of our detractors—we have deflected the slings and arrows of a mul-titude of malcontents. However, the mother-ship we call MUFON has held its course and become faster, stronger, more powerful than any of those who try so hard to disrupt our mission.

Why?

Because of you! Our membership, our sup-porters, our volunteers, our backbone!

MUFON shall emerge from its troubles because we are strong. We can overcome our

difficulties through it all, we understand the power of WILL, pure unwavering WILL! The absolute belief that we will endure, and we will continue the mission. And with that applied WILL, HOPE shall emerge and guide us through the dark night.

This is not the first time I have been called on to step into the position of executive director under less than perfect conditions, and I am humbled to accept the mantle.

There will be changes ahead, as there must be if we are to continuously evolve, strengthen and grow.

So, hang with me MUFONians. I am good at this and I promise that we will come out more competent, stronger and respected than when we came in. MUFON is in good hands with a sound board of directors, staff and dedicated leaders. We will go further than we have ever gone before. l

Heartache, uncertainty, tears, disappointment, war and strife: It seems like MUFON has been through it all. And, we have! After 51 years MUFON has been through a lot. We have seen the good, the bad, the ugly and just about every-thing in between.

HOPE

Utah witness sees flashing lights in the sky

A Utah witness in St. George reported seeing flashing lights on what looked like a large flat dish-shaped object, according to testimony in Case 108783.

The witness initially saw the lights from inside his house at 3 p.m. on May 12, 2020.

He wrote: “I was in my room (window faces the north) and saw something flashing. Just kind of thought it was a helicopter or jet, being only 70 miles from Nellis AFB, but then saw the outline of the flash. It was like a square plate. I went outside seeing that these were about 40 miles away and maybe right under the cloud surface with on [sic] leaving into the cloud. Then they all started moving NE and all dimmed out and disappeared at the same time, but the video was recorded on Snapchat and it says these lights may have been about 70 feet in length and maybe 10-20 feet flat.”

Utah MUFON State Director Michael Barrette closed this case as Unknown Other.

In his report Barrette states: “The witness stated that he believed that the object was a large flat dish-shaped object. That after his sighting he was unable to sleep and had a night of high anxiety but appears now that he is back to normal. I asked him if he had any missing time but he stated no.”

St. George is a city in and the county seat of Washington County, Utah, United States. The city is 118 miles northeast of Las Vegas and 300 miles south-southwest of Salt Lake City on Interstate 15. As of the 2019 U.S. Census estimates, the city had a population of 89,587, and the St. George metropolitan area had an estimated population of 171,700.

Washington witnesses see triangle of red lights moving to the east

A Washington woman in Kennewick reported she and her sister saw a triangular set of lights that were red and not blinking and that moved to the East before turning into a string of lights, according to testimony in Case 107874.

The reporting witness was in her backyard with her sister at 9:02 p.m. on April 9, 2020, when they “saw a house-size dark object that was a triangle with red non-blinking lights moving to the east past my house. It then turned into a line of red lights that started out as three, changed to four, then to six. They traveled east in a single row for about 500 feet, then they turned into a side-by-side formation and all of the lights started flashing simultaneously. They continued in this formation toward the east until we couldn’t see them anymore. We have pictures of this. It is the exact same ob-ject that was seen in California on March 31st. We watched the video on your site, and it is the same objects that we saw in Washington on April 9th.”

Washington MUFON Chief Investigator Daniel Nims closed this case as Unknown Aerial Vehicle.

In the report, Nims stated: “The witness and her sister were in her back yard. Initially they were observing a white light object in the west (possibly Venus), when their attention was drawn to a pattern of three red lights in a triangle arrangement. They could make out a dark triangular object with the three lights on the corners. It was flying very low, possibly less than 500’, and very slow, 15–25 mph. It was very close, less than a mile. It made no noise. It was initially seen in the SW moving east. As it passed south of them the object changed into a row of lights moving in a snakelike manner. The lights turned to the left moving more NE.

Finally, the row of red lights lined up to a straight horizon-tal row, and the lights began blinking on and off together. It departed to the east until it was too low to be seen further behind the nearby trees and houses. The primary witness’s account was corroborated by her sister. The two witnesses reported that they felt a sense of ‘electricity’ in the air while the object was passing.”

Kennewick is a city in Benton County in the U.S. state of Washington. The population was 73,917 at the 2010 census. The census bureau estimates the city’s population at 82,943 as of July 1, 2018.

Triangular craft reported over Minneapolis

A Minnesota witness in Minneapolis reported seeing a bright triangular aircraft fly by, leaving a very bright light trail, according to testimony in Case 106855.

The witness was at her house at 10 p.m. on March 12, 2020.

“I saw a really bright, triangle looking aircraft that flew by,” she wrote, “and then completely disappeared. I didn’t formerly believe in extra-terrestrials... but this was hard to deny. When flying by it left a really bright light trail, demanding attention. However, it was like it completely disappeared into the night sky.”

8 | AUGUST 2020

Minnesota MUFON Field Investigator Kathy Bixrud closed this case as Unknown Aerial Vehicle.

In her report Bixrud states: “Witness saw a really bright, triangle-looking aircraft that flew by and completely dis-appeared. Witness indicated it had wings and left a really bright light trail.”

Minneapolis is the largest city in the U.S. state of Minne-sota and the principal city of the 16th largest metropolitan area in the Unites States. As of 2019, Minneapolis has an estimated population of 429,606, making it the 46th largest city in the Unites States.

Canadian witness sees a rectangular craft with two large lights facing down flying across the sky

A Canadian witness in Red Deer reported seeing a rect-angular craft moving rapidly across the sky. It had two large lights underneath it, according to testimony in Case 108116.

The witness was outside his house, seated by a campfire in his back garden at 11:25 p.m. on April 22, 2020.

He described the unfolding of the event: “11:25 p.m. stepped outside. Mostly clear night outside home. Sighted two satellites moving to the SE directly above Red Deer, Alberta. Suddenly, a light caught my eye moving rapidly from SE to NW. Sighting was approximately five seconds. Absolutely clear; moved into low sparse cloud and dis-turbed the cloud as it passed. [The UFO] was rectangular, grey/black in color, with two large lights facing down. Lights not particularly bright, yellow/green color, but proportionately very large compared with the rectangular

object. It looked a lot like this: https://www.theufochron-icles.com/2016/04/rectangle-ufo-spotted-over-georgia.html except it was slightly wider and not quite as long by proportion. The major difference was the lights, which were yellow/green. Sighting took about five seconds, very clear image—I have 20/20 vision. Curious as to what it could have been.”

Canadian MUFON Field Investigator Leah Utas closed this case as Unknown Aerial Vehicle.

In the report, Utas stated: “The object he saw is similar to objects in MUFON cases #75213 and #104569, so it has precedents. No terrestrial vehicle known to Field Investiga-tor could account for the object in the sighting.”

Red Deer is a city in central Alberta, Canada. The city is located in aspen parkland, a region of rolling hills that is home to oil, grain, and cattle production. It had a recorded population of 100,418 in the Canada 2016 census.

Oregon witness sees and videos small white craft flying near Mount Hood

An Oregon witness near Mount Hood reported seeing a small white craft flying towards Mount Hood. It then went behind the mountain and never came back out, according to testimony in Case 108609.

The witness was on an Alaskan airline flight at 11:27 a.m. on February 28, 2020.

“I saw this after the fact,” he stated in his detailed descrip-tion of the event. “While I was seeing how good my new pocket digital camcorder was, Bam! one of the first things I found. At 5 seconds and stopped on my large screen, it looks like a Tic Tac UFO.”

Page 9: SPACE WARP PROPULSION PART 3...with the three lights on the corners. It was flying very low, possibly less than 500’, and very slow, 15–25 mph. It was very close, less than a mile.

9THE MUFON JOURNAL |

Oregon MUFON State Director Thomas Bowden closed this case as Unknown Other.

Bowden wrote in the report: “Video is not altered. The video shows a small white object appear to pass behind Mt. Hood. The object never appears to emerge on the other side of Mt. Hood. I do not think the object is a reflection of anything inside the aircraft cabin. There are some such reflections in the video, and when the camera moves, these reflections move accordingly, but the object of interest is not similarly affected by the camera movement.” In an email to a Journal editor, Bowden stated the witness saw the object in real time through his video viewfinder, though he wasn’t able to identify it. He decided after reviewing the video on a screen that the image didn’t resemble a conventional aircraft.

Mount Hood is located about 50 miles east-southeast of Portland on the border between Clackamas and Hood River Counties.

Colorado witness sees an extremely large disc floating in the sky

A Colorado witness in Greeley reported seeing a disk right above the tree line with a string of lights on one side form-

ing a C shape, and then it disappeared after four seconds, according to testimony in Case 107720.

The witness was in her room at 11 a.m. on April 14, 2020.

She wrote: “I saw a row of lights floating in the sky. I took a closer look and there were lights on the side making a C shape. Some lights were missing on the right side. I could see the outline of the disk. It matched the sky. The object was extremely large! Then it completely disappeared.”

Colorado MUFON Field Investigator Rebecca Cantu closed this case as Unknown Other.

In her report Cantu states: “No other crafts or satellites would have been seen right above the tree line as the witness stated. The height would have been between 10–15 feet. [On a photograph taken after the sighting, she] marked the area above the tree line [where the lights had appeared].”

Of interest, CMS 94597 describes a cubical UFO having a number of U-shaped lights on its sides. This case also was profiled in the “UFO Traffic Report” in the August 2019 issue of the MUFON Journal.

Greeley is a city in northern Colorado. The estimated 2019 population by the U.S. Census Bureau was 108,649. l

How can MUFON field investiga-tors collect evidence in bedroom

abduction cases? This is indeed a chal-lenge. Part one of this article suggested keeping a journal to document all the details remembered, and the collec-tion of photographic evidence. Some cases that have ongoing investigations, for years, have involved the filming of non-human entities on video. In one case, the camera remained on for seven minutes before it shut down and several entities were filmed. Aiden, whose intergenerational case I spoke of in my last article, has not had time to collect evidence.

Aiden was at his place of employment working late to complete a big project with an impending deadline. At 10:30 p.m. he spoke with his customer via his cell phone and then called his wife to inform her that he was wrapping up for the night and would be home soon. He placed his nearly fully charged phone in his pocket and began the short routine of closing the business. Suddenly, it was 3:30 a.m. and he was standing in the same location. His cell phone had completely discharged, and he was bewildered. His lonely drive home was filled with anxiety over this mysterious passage of time. He couldn’t possibly have fallen asleep while moving from room to room. The only explanation he could deduce was another missing time event. This was a familiar part of his and his family’s lives.

Upon his arrival, his wife met him at the door in a near state of panic. She had been calling and texting him for hours, but to no avail. There had been no UFO...no strange light that he remembered…nothing that could satis-factorily explain his missing time. Yet it seemed like time had simply vanished. He showered and found an odd discol-oration on his towel when he awoke.

MUFON’s Experiencer Survey ob-tained quantitative data on missing time and discovered that 65% of the participants with UFO Abduction Syndrome had experienced a period of unaccounted for time, usually between two and four hours. Historically, it has been considered an important marker for alien abduction. This was true for only 45% of the contactee group.

Aiden has not pursued hypnosis as a means of finding the answers to a myr-iad of questions concerning his anom-alous experiences. When something unusual occurs, he makes it a point to notify me. He says that he prefers to get the experience off his chest without continuously focusing on his memories. It allows him to forget about them and move forward in his productive life. He does not want to open the Pando-ra’s box that has radically altered his mother’s life.

This is typical of the type of reports we receive at MUFON’s ERT. Most peo-ple feel compelled to talk to a nonjudg-mental listener…to get these memories

off their chests. But few submit to a formal investigation. They are quietly seeking support and understanding. Contrary to Aiden’s approach, his mother, Jennie, has pursued hypnosis and the collection of evidence, and has continued to investigate the meaning of contact with the non-human entities in her life.

Like 65% of the abductees in our study, Jennie has received telepathic messages and visions. Information concerning the Earth’s future, mostly warnings of disasters and the effects of environ-mental neglect, has been received by 45% of the abductees in MUFON’s Experiencer Survey. This is true for only 30% of the contactee group. Contactees recalled messages relating to advanced technology and benevolent assistance that is decisively different than the information the abductees said they had received.

Prior to my investigation of Jennie’s abduction events, she had never ac-knowledged her above average intuitive abilities. She thought that everyone was like her. She had precognitive dreams and sometimes envisioned danger-ous events before they occurred. We discovered an elevated level of intuitive or psychic ability among abductees and their family members. All the abductee group believe they are empathic—hav-ing psychic awareness that causes them to sense the energy, emotions or physi-cal well-being of others as if they were

their own. This was true for 65% of the contactee group.

Jennie has spoken of placing her hands on her children when they were small and lowering their fevers by asking God to assist in their healing. We learned that 35% of the abductee group believe they have acquired the ability to heal others and 45% stated that they have been healed from a physical condition or disease in association with their ab-ductions. This was true of only 10% of the contactee group. Again, the abduct-ees consistently report special abilities at a significantly higher rate than the contactee group.

Jennie reported observing strange luminescent light orbs, in her home, that seemed to have intelligence. She said they were white or light blue and approximately the size of a softball. This is true for 50% of abductees and 45% of contactees. Several abductees have captured orbs, in their homes, on video. One abductee whose case I have investigated for many years captured

this orb on video. It entered his body and the large cancerous nodes in his neck became tiny and necrotic over-night. Among the abductee group, 45% reported healing by ETs, whereas 10% of the contactee group reported ET healing.

The thought of an unseen creature walking on one’s bed seems unreal to those who have never experienced it. Many investigators attribute it to one’s imagination, delusional thinking, or even the ghosts of lost pets. We asked the experiencers who participated in our survey if they had experienced the sensation of unexplained motion in their mattresses, such as the feeling that something unseen was walking on their beds. We were astonished to find that 75% of the abductee group has expe-rienced this. It was also significant for contactees, coming in at 50%.

There has been much discussion regard-ing the demeanor of non-human enti-ties, and researchers with strongly held beliefs tend to be polarized in the con-

viction that they are either benevolent or malevolent. I had hypothesized that human emotions color one’s perception of their experience. A frightened person might view the experience as negative even if it is for their benefit. Children often view physicians in a negative light, even though the inoculations they receive might ultimately reduce their suffering or even save their lives. Ab-ductees are usually fearful initially but begin to adjust as additional events oc-cur periodically over many years. Most stated that fear of the unknown, fear of being harmed, and loss of control were the primary causes of their trepidation.

When we queried our study’s expe-riencers on their perception of the non-human entities’ demeanor, 65% of the abductees and 30% of the contact-ees described them as business-like. Only 20% of the abductees thought they were kind, in contrast to 50% of the contactees. Among the abductees, 25% said they were uncaring. It was 15% for the contactees. When asked if they would end their experiences today if given a choice, 71% of the survey tak-ers said no. It was 75% for the abduct-ees and 50% for the contactees. They felt compelled to continue.

In the past, researchers have focused on reproductive procedures and ex-periments as the primary purpose of abduction. However, eighty percent of the abductees had no recall of repro-ductive procedures or observing hybrids in a non-terrestrial environment. This statistic could be skewed because al-though 35% of the abductees and 30% of the contactees retained conscious memories of being examined, only 10% of the abductees and not one contactee had undergone hypnosis.

It is indeed a new horizon for the investigation of abduction and contact experiences. MUFON’s Experiencer Survey and API have given us insight into these most perplexing phenomena. But only excellent investigation by our field investigators and the ERT and the collection of evidence can supply the ultimate answers. l

Space Warp Propulsion—Part 3“CliffsNotes” on yet another exotic space warp concept—Gravitational Wave/Quantum Vacuum Propulsion

Background

For those readers who were MUFON members as of early 2018, you’ll recall the February 2018 issue of the MUFON Journal titled “12-16-17 Announcement Day”1 This is the issue showing the US Navy gun camera photograph (shown below) of the “Tic Tac” UAP intercepted by F/A-18 fighters from the USS Nimitz and recorded from November 10 to 14, 2004.

US Navy “Tic Tac” UAP photo2

Further in regard to that event and acknowledgement by the DoD, more recent information has been forthcoming. According to Michael Salla in the fifth book in his Secret Space Program Series, Rise of the Red Dragon: Origins & Threat of China’s Secret Space Program,3 a new witness has

Page 13: SPACE WARP PROPULSION PART 3...with the three lights on the corners. It was flying very low, possibly less than 500’, and very slow, 15–25 mph. It was very close, less than a mile.

come forward. US Navy Petty Officer Patrick Hughes was stationed on the USS Nimitz during the UAP incident off the southern California coast near San Diego. Hughes claims that he was responsible for preparing the electron-ic recording and communication systems aboard a USS Nimitz E-2C “Hawkeye” airborne early warning (AEW) aircraft. This aircraft recorded radar and other electronic data transmitted from the F/A-18s during that event for further analysis by US naval intelligence.

Michael Salla, Ph.D.

Once the E-2C “Hawkeye” returned to the aircraft carrier, Hughes claims that he was met by “his commander” (pre-sumably the Nimitz commanding officer) and two US Air Force personnel. The commander ordered him to surrender the computer hard drives that were used to store all of the communications and data recorded during the episode. Ac-cording to Hughes, when he began to formally sign out the two hard drives as part of the standard operating procedure, his commanding officer directed that no sign out procedure was to be used and that the hard drives were to be given to the US Air Force personnel. Clearly, this testimony indi-cates high-level cooperation between the US Navy and the US Air Force concerning the “Tic Tac” craft.

Enter Dr. Salvatore Cezar Pais and the US Navy

In the two previous Space Warp Propulsion articles in the MUFON Journal (October 20184 and June 20205), we proposed, perhaps indirectly, that there is most likely more than one scientific approach to creating the effects that have been observed regarding UAPs. To be more precise, not all UAPs operate in the same manner. Different UAPs use differing means of propulsion. The type of propulsion under discussion in Part 3 might be called “Gravitational Wave/Quantum Vacuum Propulsion.”

The craft as envisioned by US Navy scientist Dr. Salvatore C. Pais would be best described as a hybrid aerospace-un-dersea craft (HAUC). Such a craft would be capable of operating underwater, in the air or in space. The following is Dr. Pais’s conception of such a craft:

“It is possible to envision hybrid aerospace-undersea craft (HAUC), which can function as a submersible craft capable of extreme underwater speeds [due to the absence of water-hull surface friction] and enhanced aerial/underwater stealth capabilities (non-linear scat-tering of RF and sonar signals). This hybrid-craft would move with great ease through the air/space/water me-diums, by being enclosed in a Vacuum/plasma bubble/sheath, due to the coupled effect of EM field-induced air/water particles repulsion and Vacuum energy polar-ization.”6

Dr. Pais and patents7

Dr. Pais envisioned five devices that would be used in gravi-tational wave propulsion, and we will describe each one very briefly. He has been granted patents for three of the five devices and is awaiting response from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on the remaining two.

Inertial Mass Reduction Device

So, how does this propulsion device operate? The aerody-namic principles that allow a craft to operate in air, water or space are that a vacuum is created just outside the hull of the craft. That vacuum repels all air and water molecules by an electromagnetic field surrounding the craft. Essentially, a vacuum/plasma “bubble” surrounds the hull and repels all molecules encountered while passing through that medium.

The inner cavity is an asymmetric container, basically a truncated cone with one end much larger than the other end. Microwave emitters are located at the narrow end of the cone and bombard the cavity with microwaves. The waves are contained and bounce off the cavity’s walls, cre-ating an electromagnetic resonance. Accordingly, because of the imbalanced resonance from the complex geometry of the cone, the electromagnetic field becomes direction-ally dependent. The electromagnetic field “pushes” the craft away from the direction of the cavity’s large end. This process creates a quantum vacuum ahead of the craft and propels the craft while traveling underwater or in the air. This is a difficult concept to imagine, but this is apparently how the device operates.

Based upon the name of this device, one would infer that the mass of the craft is reduced in the process. In other words, the greater the power to the HAUC and the mi-crowave emitters, the greater the device’s mass is reduced. What is the shape of the hull of the craft? From the patent and the description of the outer cavity, inner cavity and microwave emitters, the shape is apparently triangular.

Eyewitness drawing of a triangular craft8

The patent granted by the USPTO is shown below.

“Craft Using An Inertial Mass Reduction Device” Patent9

The rather arcanely-written abstract of Pais’s patent is as follows:

“A craft using an inertial mass reduction device comprises of an inner resonant cavity wall, an outer resonant cavity and microwave emitters. The electrically charged outer resonant cavity wall and the electrically insulated inner resonant cavity wall form a resonant cavity. The microwave emitters create high frequency electromagnetic waves through the resonant cavity causing the resonant cavity to vibrate in an accelerated mode and create a local polarized vacuum outside the outer resonant cavity wall.”10

High Energy Electromagnetic Field Generator

If one were designing a spacecraft or submersible craft (submarine), it would require a device to repel enemy projectiles (torpedoes), sonar energy or other energy waves so as to protect the craft. The field generator creates a protective electromagnetic shield or “bubble” for defensive purposes. Think of Star Trek and the defensive “deflector shields” of the USS Enterprise. A patent for the “High En-ergy Electromagnetic Field Generator” was granted by the USPTO on November 20, 2018.11

High Frequency Gravitational Wave Generator

So, what actually propels the craft? Answer: gravitational waves while the craft travels in space! Gravitational waves, a natural phenomenon (although in this case, they are arti-ficially-induced waves), are ripples in space-time and were reported in the November 2017 issue.12 According to Pais, the gravitational wave generator propels the HAUC “by producing high-frequency gravitational waves which in turn generate their own gravitational fields upon which the craft would propagate in a ‘wave-surfing’ fashion.” The patent for the generator was granted on June 18, 2019. “Wave-surf-ing” is a description of what was originally reported in the October 2018 issue.13 I have used the same artist’s rendition (below) as in my previous space warp propulsion articles to illustrate a space warp bubble: riding a space warp wave or “wave-surfing.” The red region is the “higher” side of the wave and the blue region is the “lower” side of the wave. The spacecraft rides the wave from left to right.14

Plasma Compression Fusion Device

When Pais applied for what became the US ‘532 patent (see above) for the inertial mass reduction device, the ap-plication was rejected by the USPTO due to the enormous amounts of power that would be required by the HAUC and the microwave emitters small enough in size to fit into the craft. As part of the patent application, the following is Pais’s explanation as to how his nuclear fusion device differs from other similar devices:

“At present there are few envisioned fusion reactors/devices that come in a small, compact package (ranging from 0.3 to 2 meters in diameter) and typically they use different versions of plasma magnetic confine-ment. Three such devices are the Lockheed Martin Skunk Works Compact Fusion Reactor (LM-CFR), the EMC2 Polywell fusion concept, and the Princeton Field-Reversed Configuration (PFRC) machine. . . . These devices feature short plasma confinement times, possible plasma instabilities with the scaling of size, and it is questionable whether they have the ability of achieving the break-even fusion condition, let alone a self-sustained plasma burn leading to ignition.”16

Dr. Pais is basically stating that his nuclear fusion device would be self-sustaining and render sufficient energy to power the HAUC and microwave emitters. The patent ap-plication for Pais’s Plasma Compression Fusion Device was published on September 26, 2019, after being filed with the USPTO on behalf of the US Navy on March 22, 2018.17

Piezoelectricity-induced Room Temperature Superconductor

How does one store the massive amount of electrical energy required for the HAUC and its microwave emitters? As the reader will recall, in the alien reproduction vehicle (ARV) described in “Space Warp Propulsion—Part 2,”18 the ARV stored electrical energy in 48 pie-shaped capacitors. For the HAUC, a different, exotic technology is used for that same purpose. Pais’s solution is to use what he calls “room temperature superconductors” as part of a “super-capacitor.” Superconductivity, as we know it, only occurs at very low temperature (as in previous articles about mercury, it is a superconductor). This device’s name implies the provision of superconductive capacitors operable at room temperature to be used as an electrical storage device.

Pais’s Plasma Compression Fusion Device patent appli-cation has been docketed to an examiner and is awaiting examination.19

Breakthrough Technologies

So, how do the five patents improve vehicle performance over present day submarines and spacecraft? For reference, a US Virginia-Class submarine has a maximum speed

underwater of 29 mph. A Chinese Jin-Class submarine has an estimated submerged speed of 23 mph. For a spacecraft to achieve low Earth orbit (LEO), an orbital velocity of 17,450 mph much be attained. For a spacecraft to achieve escape velocity (velocity to escape Earth’s gravitational field), a speed of approximately 25,020 mph is required.

And what about the “Tic Tac” event of 2004? One of Salla’s government informants claims that the Tic Tac was, in fact, a US Air Force aerospace craft capable of undersea travel at velocities around 500 mph and into the air and “into outer space at speeds over 24,000 mph.”20 Salla’s informant also stated that the Tic Tac craft was developed in three mod-els (note: the same number of models as the ARV) with one being 46 feet long. The F/A-18 pilot’s (Commander Fravor’s) estimate of the length of the craft that he chased was about 40 feet. One then suspects that at least one of those models is far larger than the one sighted in 2004. So, for nuclear submarines using these technologies, a speed improvement of more than an order of magnitude could be expected. For a spacecraft, one would infer that a Tic Tac craft would at least be capable of interplanetary travel.

The estimate above by one of Salla’s informants (“over 24,000 mph”) seems to be a bit pessimistic. Indeed, if we are dealing with gravitational wave energy, we are in a com-pletely different class of technology. As my November 2017 article stated, natural gravitational waves travel at the speed of light. Pais’s patent for the gravitational wave generator specifically states that “In this manner, the local spacetime energy density is modified. These systems would be strate-gically placed on an intergalactic craft.”21 Make no mistake as to what Pais is addressing here. He is referring to light speed or faster-than-light (FTL) velocities. Pais is describ-ing a craft capable of intergalactic travel.

So, Why Pursue These Patents . . . Now?

Generally speaking, patents are desirable so that their in-ventors can benefit from the sale or licensing fees generated by future users of those patented inventions. The patents described above are all critical to the operation of a HAUC. Certainly, a spacecraft/undersea craft could be considered highly secret and an issue of national security. It is Salla’s conclusion that the patents were granted because Navy officials have decided the time has come for the disclosure of advanced electromagnetic propulsion technologies that have already been long in operation. Therefore, rather than being merely innovative proposals for future development, as suggested in the patents, these devices represent ‘oper-able’ technologies.22 This is to say that these technologies have been, perhaps, in operation for decades.

Salla goes on to say, “Critically, it is known that China has already developed similar hybrid electromagnetic craft— likely deployed around 2012—and consequently, there is no strategic value in keeping such technology secret from the

general public any longer.”23

Commentary

Some might say that this is a lot to absorb in one article! Agreed. It’s all rather overwhelming, but one has to con-sider that the technologies described above leave fossil fuel combustion in their wake as a completely obsolete means of propulsion. This article only touches the high points of these technologies. If the reader would like substantially more detail and a good deal of insight into China’s secret space program, I would recommend Michael Salla’s Rise of the Red Dragon as an excellent starting point.

Comments by the readership about this article would be appreciated.

THE MUFON JOURNAL | 17

World War II ended 75 years ago this month. Some of the tur-

bulent and bloody events of August 1, 1945, to August 16, 1945, might even have caught the attention of observers from other worlds. Events included the final land battles and air raids of this bloodiest war in human history, and Emperor Hirohito’s dramatic broadcast announcement of Japan’s surrender. Over time, the nuclear de-struction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, respectively, has overshadowed the memory of other events that August. Some believe the destruction of those cities opened a nuclear age that didn’t go unnoticed beyond Earth, as witnessed by the wave of UFO sightings that began soon after the war.

Have certain events on this planet been so important (or alarming) that they’re actually written down some-where on an interplanetary calendar? If our planet’s emerging nuclear age gained such import in August 1945, perhaps other events also helped set the stage for that attention. Depend-ing on the sensitivity of their scientific detection methods, and how much attention actual extraterrestrials may have paid, perhaps they also picked up on other nuclear developments.

Consider just two possible instances from the war years. On December 2, 1942, a team in Chicago led by Enrico Fermi achieved the world’s first con-trolled nuclear chain reaction. On July

16, 1945, a secret test conducted in New Mexico produced the world’s first explosion of a nuclear weapon. Hiro-shima and Nagasaki were destroyed by atomic bombs less than a month after. If hypothetically extraterrestrials learned of all of these events, it’s worth wondering what first caught their attention. Circumstantial evidence suggests other developments may also have weighed on them.

When World War II began in 1939, aerial combat followed within days. Over time, mysterious objects ap-peared in war-torn skies around the world. Among Allied aircrews they came to be known as foo fighters and they’ve never been explained. In retro-spect, they might have been UFOs and not from this world.

So mass air battles might have caught extraterrestrial attention along with the early stages of the nuclear age.

Circumstantial evidence—foo fighters, UFO activity following the first use of nuclear weapons—all hints that these events might have grabbed interstellar attention in the 1940s. We have no evidence suggesting possible extrater-restrial awareness or comprehension of other terrible events in the world during those years. Ultimately, we don’t know what it may take for events on one planet to warrant wider notori-ety and entry as dates in interplanetary history.

However, reports of UFO activity around aircraft and nuclear sites have persisted since the early post-World War II era. It’s worth considering whether some of the history we write in the twenty-first century could cop a place in interplanetary annals. For better or worse, that newly made interplanetary history could decide how extraterrestrials will deal with us during their visits here on Earth. l

Letters to the Columnist

Two letters from Journal readers highlight evidence of America’s Secret Space Program

Background

In June, I received two letters from my readers: one letter seriously ques-tioning the involvement of the US Air Force with the production of the TV series Stargate SG-1. The reader suggests that SG-1 was a form of “soft” disclosure fully supported by the USAF. The second letter refers to facts re-vealed in The Illustrated UFO Investigators Reference Guide4 and in my other article in this month’s issue, “Space Warp Propulsion—Part 3,” which deals with Dr. Salvatore C. Pais’s five patents on exotic space warp technologies.

Stargate SG–1 = “Soft Disclosure”?

Subject: T. L. Keller – Andromeda Strain5

Dear Mr. Keller,

Your article’s final paragraph struck a strong chord with me.

In a recent TV documentary on UFOs and aliens, I recall that a precondi-tioning scenario was advanced. That was to have started with the excellent 1951 film, The Day the Earth Stood Still, also directed by Robert Wise. Since then, of course, science-fiction movies and TV programs revolving around contact, for good or ill (in outcomes, scripting and production values) ex-ploded throughout the world.

19THE MUFON JOURNAL |

Within that UFO program, the point was made that Gene Roddenberry6, with the Star Trek series, was part of a backroom plan to further expose the public to the idea of alien contact or aliens among us. I’m sure that you probably have seen that program. I have no idea of the veracity of those claims, but it would certainly seem possible. And it would be no surprise if “we’re already out there,” as Richard Dean Anderson’s Col. Jack O’Neill pointed out to the Asgard leader on their first meeting, in the series Stargate SG-1 (much better than the Stargate movie, in my opinion anyway). It was a po-tent line, but it also had a ring of authenticity to it that caught my attention and lingers on in the back of my mind. Since the SG-1 production utilized a USAF of-ficer for technical guidance, I can’t help wondering just how seriously invested in the series the Air Force was and how much they desired to “get IT right” for the au-dience. So, I don’t discard the possibility of deep-black government conspiracies; all one needs do is observe Capitol Hill antics or schoolyard cliques to know that humankind is fully capable of such plots.

Sincerely, Suzanne Bredlau Turgeon

The “Tic Tac” Craft = A DoD Asset?

Subject: T. L. Keller June 2020 column feedback7

Dear T. L. Keller

I appreciated your article in the June issue of MUFON Journal, “Space Warp Propulsion—Part 2.” The counter rotating plasma chamber that is tapping ZPE needs to be shielded from the radioactivity that process gener-ates. If you are not familiar with this It is covered in the following YouTube video from Minnesota MUFON, January 2020.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrPcFZttXYo

Professor Aaron Tank’s segment does speak to the radiation of this process. During our first experiments at drawing ZPE power from the plasma we did not think to test for radiation. When success was achieved in changing hydrogen into helium, we decided it was a fusion process and there may be radiation. There was. Our work was low power. Higher power would generate much more radiation.

My most astounding revelation came when I read Module 24 of The Illustrated UFO Investigators Refer-ence Guide. The Tic-Tac object from the AATIP Video is a government UFO. U.S. Patent 10,144,532 B2 was assigned to the US Navy. The link is in the module.8 The technology taps into materials that lose weight

when subjected to 650nm (red) light. The atmospheric speeds and the underwater speeds are astounding for this vehicle.

The AATIP video also shows a “Top” flying saucer. I believe that this also is one of ours. It illustrates a di-mensional drive. I believe that our first experience with space-time dimensional drive was “Project Rainbow” from 1943. You many know it as “The Philadelphia Ex-periment.” After my short (?) time in the USAF. I was trying to justify my experiences and reading the book and the multi-colored annotated copy from Wright- Patterson AFB gave me additional information on the topic.

I hope this information is useful to you. I look forward to your future columns.

Sincerely, Joe Swenson

Follow-up E-Mail from Joe Swenson9

Thank you for offering to use my email as I wrote it. I had to debate about using my name for a minute as I have two years left on my security oath, but I did not say anything that has not already been presented in some other form. I hope that you got a chance to read patent #10,144,532 B2; it is an easy read for tech people and some non-tech people. Go ahead and use my name if you wish. It is important that humans learn that we can build and fly craft that can travel faster than light in space, and travel through atmospheres, oceans and mass. We do have the technology to take ET home!

There are more ship designs than there are alien races but that stands to reason. I was blessed to be able to have 30 years of conversations with T.B. Pawlicki before he died last year. Through Tom, I had contacts with many people around the world dealing with various aspects of this and related topics.

You will notice in the patent that they have a Faraday cage around the crew quarters. This means that telepa-thy is the main means of communication between crew and base so some articles on improving telepathy in humans, like brainwave entrainment of the psi effects.

Again, thank you for your column.

Commentary

Of course, Ms. Turgeon is spot on in her suggestion that the US Air Force supported the production of SG-1. But there’s more to the story than the USAF provid-ing an officer for technical guidance. In fact, at the Air Force Association’s 57th Annual Air Force Anni-versary Dinner in Washington, D.C., on September 14, 2004, SG-1 received special recognition. Then-Air

Force Chief of Staff General John P. Jumper presented Richard Dean Anderson (center in photo below) with an award for his role as star and executive producer of Stargate SG-1. Anderson (who played USAF Col. Jack O’Neill) was also made an honorary Air Force brigadier general.10

This reminds me of the event when the Secretary of Defense William Cohen met director/executive pro-ducer Steven Spielberg at the Pentagon. Spielberg was received by Secretary Cohen with a full military honor guard at the front steps of the Pentagon. This event fol-lowed his Oscar and British Academy Film awards-win-ning film, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, featuring a cameo appearance by the late Dr. J. Allen Hynek. The Department of Defense is not in the habit of honoring key Hollywood personalities unless they have accom-plished, in their eyes, something quite extraordinary.

Mr. Swenson asserts that the “Tic Tac” craft tracked by the USS Nimitz’s radar and identified visually by Commander Fravor in 2004 is a Department of Defense asset and not extraterrestrial in origin. Guess what? Mr. Swenson is apparently correct. He refers to a specific US patent granted to the US Navy and dealing with a cer-tain exotic aerospace technology. Without repeating the details that are specified in my article also in this issue, it is abundantly clear that the technologies involved are known within America’s secret space programs. And, on top of that, they have been within our technological “wheelhouse” for decades.

In “Space Warp Propulsion—Part 3” (and in other sources as well) it becomes clear that these technologies have been exploited by the DoD for a very long period of time. How can I say that? There are three recent-ly-granted patents, each involving different technologies

US Navy “Tic Tac” photograph12

that, if combined within a single craft, would allow it to travel in space, air and/or water at very high relative velocities. As it turns out, Rob Swiatek, a member of MUFON’s board of directors, is well familiar with the patenting of both classified and non-classified inven-tions. He spent the balance of his career working for the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and from 1999 to 2015 worked in the area of aeronautics and astronautics. First, he says that there are no classi-fied patents. But there are classified patent applications. When an application is suspected of containing classi-fied information, it is sent to the military or intelligence agencies for review. Those containing classified material are examined but, if found allowable, do not immedi-ately receive patents: They sit in a vault. “Some of these have languished in the USPTO’s vault for decades waiting for their secrecy orders to be rescinded,” says Swiatek. Second, after a secrecy order is lifted, only then is the patent granted and published. These three patents have been granted. But why?

The US Navy and the DoD did not classify the Pais patent applications. In my opinion, this is just one indi-cation that both the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China have both researched and developed their own “Gravitational Wave/Virtual Vacuum Propul-sion” systems perhaps decades ago. [!]

In essence, there are two types of space programs: the ones discussed in public and the ones that are not. If the reader is still not convinced that there are secret space programs, one might like to read one of Dr. Michael Salla’s books in his Secret Space Program Series13 or my digital book, The Total Novice’s Guide To The Secret Space Program.14
