★Project the cards with a document camera and use them with a class.★In a center, the cards can be used with the student recording sheet on page 13.★Pairs of students may use the cards to coach and quiz each other.★Use the cards with Cooperative Structures such as Quiz-Quiz-Trade, Numbered Heads Together, Fan ‘N Pick, or Showdown. ★The cards may be utilized for small group remediation.★Cards may be sent as homework for students who would benefit from additional practice.★Use the cards for Scoot. Directions included at the bottom of this page.

Scoot DirectionsAsk students to number their papers for the number of cards they will be completing or provide pre-made answer sheets. Distribute the task cards so that each student has one card on his or her desk. Students begin by answering the question on the task card that is on their own desk. After an appropriate amount of time depending on the age of your students and the cards being used the teacher says, "SCOOT".  Students rotate to the next desk in the order determined prior to starting the game. At each desk, students find and answer another card. The activity continues until all students have completed each card or no time remains. Have students compare their answers with partners or teams. Review the correct answers with student.
