Basic Data Hospital Structure ISH_MAIN: LOCKING BUILDING UNITS ON AN HOURLY BASIS (ENHANCED)

If activated, you can now use the function for locking building units on an hourly basis. It was previously only possible to lock building units on a daily basis in table TN11P. Start and end times have now been added to the lock function. For example, a bed can be locked in the morning but occupied again in the afternoon. To reproduce this in the system, you can now lock a bed for a day and time. You can create and edit lock entries in the new table TN11S on an hourly basis. Users branch from the Clinical Work Station (transaction NWP1) to the building unit ID (bed). If there is an entry in the table for this building unit, the system displays the entry for editing. Previously, it was possible for the user to change and thus overwrite the existing data here; as of the Support Packages listed below, it is now also possible to create new lock entries. Note: When you activate the new function in Customizing, you must migrate existing daily lock entries in table TN11P to the new table TN11S so that they are still included in processing. You do this using the migration report RNU_CONV_TN11P2S. This enhancement is available as of: SAP ERP 6.0, Industry Extension Healthcare (IS-H 600), Support Package 38, business function SAP

Effects on Existing Data The new table TN11S is available: Effects on Customizing To be able to use this function for locking building units on an hourly basis, you must activate it by selecting the L indicator for each building category in Customizing under SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals -> Hospital Basic Data -> Hospital Structure -> Building Structure -> Define Building Unit Categories. See also For more information, see the following documentation: SAP Note 1874062 Documentation for the above Customizing activity Documentation for report RNU_CONV_TN11P2S

Patient Management General ISH_MAIN: DECEASED PATIENT MESSAGE (ENHANCED)

Until now, the message Patient is deceased (N1 081) was only displayed in the case list or case overview (transaction code NP10) in certain circumstances, for example if the user tried to create or change an admission or case-to-case assignment from the case list. It was also not possible to configure the message in the case list (function N00P). Message N1 081 is now also displayed once for a patient in the case list for the case overview. The system also always displays the message if the user accesses a function in Create or Change mode from the case list. In this context, you can now configure the message in message control. You can adjust the way the message is displayed or suppress it entirely in Customizing for SAP Healthcare Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals under Basic Settings -> System Parameters -> Message Control -> Maintain Messages. Function: N00P Application area: N1 Message number: 081 Default type: S (success message). The long text of the message has been modified slightly to reflect these changes. These enhancements are available as of: SAP ERP 6.0, Industry Extension Healthcare (IS-H 600), Support Package 37, business function SAP

Inpatient Case ISH_MAIN CH, DE: USER INTERFACE FOR CASE MERGING (ENHANCED)

This release note is only relevant for the country versions Switzerland and Germany and is not available in English.

Medical/Nursing Documentation General ISH_MAIN DE: OPS 2014: ADDITIONAL AND ONE-TIME CODES (ENHANCED)

This release note is only relevant for the country version Germany and is not available in English.

Patient Accounting General ISH_MAIN: SEPA: ENTRY OF MANDATES FOR SELF-PAYERS AND THIRD-PARTY PAYERS (ENHANCED)

You can now enter and print SEPA mandates from the Financial Accounting application (FI) for self-payers and third-party payers in SAP Patient Management (IS-H). These functions are required primarily to support the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). These enhancements are available as of: SAP ERP 6.0, Industry Extension Healthcare (IS-H 600), Support Package 37, business function SAP

Patient Management (ISH_MAIN) SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP ERP 6.0, Industry Extension Healthcare (IS-H 603), Support

Package 13, business function SAP Patient Management (ISH_MAIN) SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0, Industry Extension Healthcare (IS-H 617), Support

Package 03, business function SAP Patient Management (ISH_MAIN) The Bank Details section now contains a Mandates pushbutton when you maintain bank, account, and payment data (accounting data) in insurance relationships for self-payers or third-party payers. You can use this pushbutton to enter or change mandates for this IBAN. The standard system settings include an ALV filter (ALV = SAP List Viewer) that only displays mandates with the status Entered, To Be Confirmed, and Active. If you want to display mandates with other statuses, you can change this filter. As compared with the Financial Accounting application, the function for displaying mandates in SAP Patient Management has been simplified and tailored to the admissions process. The system copies the name and

  • RELEASE NOTES IS-H 617/SP03

    10

address of the payer from the customer data. The payees name, address, and creditor ID are copied from the paying company code that is assigned to the institution. The user cannot enter the mandate reference. The system determines it automatically according to the settings in the Financial Accounting application. The system only displays the most up-to-date version of the mandate. Please note that an IBAN is required in order to enter a mandate. You can only enter B2B mandates (for company direct debits) for third-party payers. If you have defined prohibited status changes in Financial Accounting, SAP Patient Management takes them into account. If you have defined reason codes for status changes in Financial Accounting, you can enter them in SAP Patient Management. As is the case for bank details and IBANs, SAP Patient Management synchronizes the mandates with the FI customer. A Mandate List pushbutton is now available when you maintain accounting data in insurance relationships for self-payers or third-party payers. You can use this pushbutton to display and change the existing mandates for all of a customers IBANs. The standard system settings include an ALV filter that only displays mandates with the status Entered, To Be Confirmed, and Active. If you want to display mandates with other statuses, you can change this filter. If the user does not have authorization to access original data for pseudonymized patients, they cannot display or change mandates. The work organizer type SEPAMND is now available for printing mandates. It supports Smart Forms and PDF technology. You can also use the SEPA mandate form defined in Financial Accounting here. Mandate printing is only available if there is a case context, for example in the admission variants in the Clinical Process Builder (NV2000). Form printing is not available in transaction NV33 (Maintain Insurance Relationships). The system only prints mandates that have the status Entered or To Be Confirmed. The system creates a print request for each customer. The user cannot select individual mandates for printing. According to the standard settings, the system also allows printing for a customer who does not have any mandates and repeated printing of a mandate if the insurance relationship is split into periods. You can override these settings by implementing Business Add-In (BAdI) ISH_FIND_FORMS in the enhancement spot ES_ISH_FIND_FORMS. SAP provides a sample implementation ISH_FIND_FORMS_SEPA_MANDATE for this purpose. Effects on System Administration You must apply the following SAP Notes before you can use the above functions: 1870729 (SEPA: Preparation for Integration of IS-H). 1898309 (SEPA Event Module in FI to Enrich Mandate Data) In addition to the authorizations required to maintain customers bank details in SAP Patient Management, the user also requires the authorization object F_MANDATE to maintain mandates. Effects on Customizing Check that SEPA mandates from the Financial Accounting application (FI) are active in the Customizing activity Financial Accounting (New) -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable -> Business Transactions -> Incoming Payments -> Management of SEPA Mandates -> General Settings. Mandates are only available in SAP Patient Management if this is the case.

You make the settings for printing SEPA mandates in the following Customizing activities: SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals -> Tools -> Work Organizer Management ->

Work Organizers -> Maintain Keys/Texts for Work Organizer Type SEPAMND SAP Healthcare Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals -> Tools -> Work Organizer Management ->

Work Organizers -> Configure Output Conditioned by Ins. Provider and IP Type See also For more information, see the SAP consulting Note 1864186, IS-H: SEPA. SAP continually updates this Note, which contains information, recommendations, and an outlook on developments planned in the future to support SEPA in IS-H. For more information about how SAP supports SEPA, see the SEPA page in the SAP Service Marketplace under http://service.sap.com/sepa. ISH_MAIN: INSTITUTION-REL. AND TIME-DEP. SERVICES PER TREATMENT CATEGORY (NEW)

Treatment categories are used to characterize patients during their stay in hospital and to assign them certain characteristics and/or services. Examples: N Standard patient P1B Privately insured patient in a private room P1T Privately insured patient in a private room with a telephone P2B Privately insured patient in a semi-private room You can assign the treatment categories to movements. This new function lets you assign services to a treatment category for a specific period. If the only change is to the services in a treatment category, the treatment category itself remains valid. The system uses the start date of the movement to read and generate the corresponding services.

    1. If you change the treatment category of a case, the system automatically adjusts the services for that case according to the settings made here.

    2. If you create a movement (for example, a transfer), the system determines the services defined for

the treatment category on the movement date. This also happens if the treatment category is copied from the previous movement. The system adjusts the services in the case automatically according to the settings made here (as in 1).

    3. If you change the movement date or change the status of the movement to Actual, the system

checks whether the services defined for the treatment category on the movement date match those already generated for the treatment category. If they do not match, the system adjusts the services in the case automatically according to the settings made here (as in 1).

Please note that the system behavior described in these three points only applies if the user has not changed the services manually (the same as the previous system behavior).

  • RELEASE NOTES IS-H 617/SP03

    12

Note: Services within a movement are not split. The system determines all the services that are valid on the key date (movement date). If you define several services at one point in time that are interdependent and are not all to be generated, you must adjust these services in a separate service rule (for example, for day patients who are assigned services according to the admission date. Example: If admission takes place on July 1

    st and transfer on

August 11th, always service CONTRACT1; if admission takes place on August 1

    st and transfer on August

11th, always service CONTRACT2 with the same treatment category.)

Note: The time limit is not adjusted automatically for open cases. 1) Customizing Settings to Activate and Define Time-Dependent Services per Treatment Category Activate Time-Dependent Services per Treatment Category The Time-Dependent Services per Treatment Category Active indicator is available in Customizing for SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals under Basic Settings -> System Parameters -> Maintain Client-Specific Basic Control -> Set Client-Specific Control Parameters. If the indicator is selected, the system uses the entries from Customizing under Time-Dependent Services

per Treatment Category and you can process this Customizing activity. If the indicator is not selected, the system uses the entries from Customizing under Services per Treatment

Category and you can process this Customizing activity. Note: If you use the migration report below to migrate services per treatment category to the new Time-Dependent Services per Treatment Category table, the system selects this indicator automatically. For more information, see the documentation for the Customizing activity. Define Time-Dependent Services per Treatment Category in Customizing A new entry Time-Dependent Services per Treatment Category is available in Customizing under SAP Healthcare Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals -> Patient Accounting -> Treatment Categories. You can define time-dependent services per treatment category here. A migration report is available for transferring the services from Customizing under Services per Treatment Category to Time-Dependent Services per Treatment Category. You can only assign, change, and delete services here if the Time-Dependent Services per Treatment Category Active indicator is selected. You can use the Change End Date to delimit the validity period of services assigned. For more information, see the documentation for the Customizing activity. 2) Migration Report for Transferring Services per Treatment Category You want to use the Time-Dependent Services per Treatment Category function and transfer services that you previously assigned to treatment categories under Assign Services to Treatment Categories to the new Customizing table Assign Services to Treatment Categories for Specific Periods. You can do this using the migration report RN_TN24L_DT_MIGRATION. For more information about this, see the report documentation. You can execute the report in test or update mode.

    13

    3) Note on Adjustments to Customer Programs The system stores the services assigned to each treatment category for a specific period in the new table TN24L_DT. If you use this new function and have customer programs that use table TN24L (Services per Treatment

Category), check whether you need to change the table name to TN24L_DT. If you are not using this new function, you do not need to make any changes. These new features are available as of: SAP ERP 6.0, Industry Extension Healthcare, business function SAP Patient Management (ISH_MAIN),

Package 03, business function SAP Patient Management (ISH_MAIN) In work organizer management, you must configure output control using Customizing tables. The Customizing settings include basic control criteria, such as insurance provider and insurance provider type. You can use BAdI ISH_FIND_FORMS in the enhancement spot ES_ISH_FIND_FORMS to extend output control, since the system takes additional context information into account. You can use the BAdI to make the following adjustments to the output control settings determined from the table Customizing: You can suppress printing of certain forms (according to the context) You can change print parameters including the following:

o Printer o Number of copies o Output spool request immediately o Delete spool request after output o Use print dialog (if dialog processing is possible) o Output language of form (if language control is active for the work organizer type)

For more information, see the BAdI documentation. The system accesses the BAdI immediately after evaluating the table Customizing. If the print selection dialog box appears (for example, choose form print), it already contains the changed values.

Effects on Customizing You can find the BAdI in Customizing under SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals -> Tools -> Work Organizer Management -> Business Add-Ins for Work Organizer Management -> BAdI: Work Organizer Management: Output Control. SAP does not provide an active implementation with the standard system. Context/Upgrade/Dependencies: The enhancement spot and the BAdI were previously only available if the business function SAP Patient Management: Legal Process Adoption (ISH_MISC1) and/or the business function SAP Patient Management Country Version Italy (ISH_CV_IT) were active; see the following release notes: ISH_MISC1: BAdI ISH_FIND_FORMS (New) for IS-H 604 ISH_CV_IT: Print Collective Invoices (Changed) for IS-H 603 The scope of the function corresponds to that available with the business function ISH_MISC1. This means you have access to the full functionality, notably in the country version Italy. You can continue to use existing implementations. If you are using the country version Italy and the business function ISH_MISC1 is not active in your system, we recommend that you check the performance of existing implementations. The sample implementation ISH_FIND_FORMS is still not available until IS-H 603 (enhancement package 3 of ERP 6.0). Please note that the sample implementation applies to situation where the business function ISH_MISC1 or ISH_CV_IT is active. ISH_MAIN DE: REPORT RNPRULECHECK FOR PROCEDURE RULE ANALYSIS (NEW)
