PH: 5996 1744 Bakewell St. PO Box 26 Cranbourne 3977 23rd March, 2020 To all members of our Cranbourne Primary School community—We hope you are staying posive, supporng each other and contribung to the minimising of contaminaon within the community, by respecng social distancing during this unprecedented global climate. Noficaon from the Department of Educaon & Training (DET) has informed us that schools will begin the holiday period at the end of TODAY Monday 23rd March 2020. The school holiday period will commence as of Tuesday 24th March. As per the direcon of our Prime Minister, families need to make arrangements for the care and supervision of children during this me. School is scheduled to resume in Term 2 on Wednesday 15th April. At this stage all students are expected to return to school on this date. In the event that schools are instructed by DET to begin a remote learningperiod, noficaon updates will be communicated to families via text and emails. We have been making preparaons to provide our students with learning that can be undertaken at home - 'Remote Learning' . Individual learning packs have been developed for every child at Cranbourne Primary School. Remote learning involves on-line learning tasks set by teachers as well as printed tasks to be completed in workbooks. Printed packs contain the necessary resources to complete the book work and include access codes to online learning Learning packs WILL NOT BE DISTRIBUTED TODAY as the learning tasks are designed for a remote learning period only . They are not holiday tasks. In the event that remote learning is acvated, informaon regarding distribuon of these packs will be communicated to families via SMS and email before Wednesday 15th April. Families will be kept updated via newsleer, SMS, Facebook and the school website. Should any of your families be diagnosed posive with COVID-19 during the school holidays or a period of closure, please leave a message on the answering machine—I will contact you personally as soon as possible. To all members of our Cranbourne Primary School community—We hope you are staying positive,

supporting each other and contributing to the minimising of contamination within the community, by

respecting social distancing during this unprecedented global climate.

Notification from the Department of Education & Training (DET) has informed us that schools will begin

the holiday period at the end of TODAY Monday 23rd March 2020.
