Upon arrival, we enjoy a brief orientation tour of Queenstown, before being transferred to our accommodation for the evening. Tonight we will enjoy a group dinner at the hotel. Copthorne Lakefront, Queenstown Day 2 Monday 25 November 2019 QUEENSTOWN – TE ANAU (BLD) Leaving Queenstown you skirt the shores of Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand’s third largest lake. Traveling via Te Anau to reach the beautiful Eglinton Valley climbing to Homer Tunnel before descending through the spectacular Cleddau Canyon to reach Milford Sound and enjoy a cruise of the Sound. The Sound is dominated by the grandeur of Mitre Peak and the Bowen Falls. From Milford Sound you return to Te Anau reaching our overnight accommodation. Distinction Luxmore Hotel, Lake Te Anau Day 3 Tuesday 26 November 2019 TE ANAU – DUNEDIN (BD) Departing Te Anau, travel through some of New Zealand’s most populated sheep country through to Lumsden and onto Gore before arriving in Dunedin “the Edinburgh of the South”. Upon our arrival into Dunedin, enjoy the views of the harbour from the hill suburbs. See the University of Otago with its historic blue stone buildings on the banks of the Leith River. Travel through the CBD along George and Princes Streets and through the Octagon which features the historic Town Hall and St Pauls Anglican Cathedral and a statue of the Scottish poet Robbie Burns. See the stunning white sandy beaches of St Clair and St Kilda before returning to the city. This afternoon, visit Olveston House – an impressive turn-of-the-century house that is still home to all the lavish furnishings and art collections that have been collected from all corners of the world. Scenic Dunedin City Hotel, Dunedin Day 4 Wednesday 27 November 2019 DUNEDIN SIGHTSEEING (B) Today is at leisure. You have the opportunity to board an optional train ride - the Taieri Gorge Train Excursion from the historic Dunedin Railway Station for a scenic train ride into the spectacular Taieri Gorge to Pukerangi and return. As an option this evening enjoy a tour around a historic working Brewery where you will discover how Speight’s became a legend in the south. After the tour pop down to the Ale House, situated within the Brewery and enjoy good Southern fare and all of the Speight’s range fresh from the tap. Day 5 Thursday 28 November 2019 DUNEDIN – TWIZEL (BD) Today is a day for spectacular sights as we travel north. Stop at Moeraki and see the unusually large and spherical boulders lying along a stretch of Koekohe Beach then continue on to the coastal town of Oamaru, where you will have time to look at the White Stone City’ where the old buildings have been constructed with local limestone. It was from Oamaru that New Zealand’s first frozen meat was shipped in 1882 taking over three months to reach England, and thus began New Zealand’s most important export industry. Travelling inland through Benmore and Otematata, through Sailors Cutting before arriving at Twizel. You head north to skirt the shore of Lake Pukaki to Mount Cook, New Zealand’s highest mountain. Time is available to enjoy an optional scenic flight over the ancient rivers of ice and the West Coast Glaciers (weather permitting – a highly recommended option). You then retrace your steps back to the overnight accommodation om Twizel. Learn about the effects of the 2011 Christchurch Earthquakes and how the city is rebuilding. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Door to door collection or free parking at our depot… Leisure Time Tours offers a free home collection and drop off service from selected Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua and most Auckland City areas on all of our Escorted Tours. Our complimentary collections are based on your individual postal code, and if you are outside of these areas we can make other home collection locations available at an additional cost. Alternatively you may wish to meet us at our Hamilton depot in which case you can park your car in our secure yard free of charge for the duration of your holiday.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions It is understood by Leisure Time Tours that the terms and conditions of travel are accepted by the passenger if/when the required deposit is paid.

Itineraries Itineraries were correct at the time of printing, but are subject to change without notice. This could come about due to road or weather conditions, or any changes imposed by other tour operators and carriers included in the itinerary. If a passenger amends their itinerary by starting or concluding the itinerary earlier or later or during an itinerary then it becomes their responsibility to arrange tour or flight connections as necessary.

If there isn’t another passenger of the same gender to share with we guarantee our twin share price. Leisure Times Tours accepts no responsibility for the compatibility of passengers travelling under this arrangement. If someone is not compatible with the person they have been matched up with, all additional costs incurred to assist with changing their room type to a guaranteed single room will be at the traveller’s expense and will be subject to availability. Acceptance of a guaranteed twin share basis is subject to the individual’s medical condition being suitable for this type of arrangement.

Payments, Cancellations and Refunds A non-refundable deposit is required on booking to confirm your seat. All balance payments must be received by Leisure Time Tours prior to the date specified as per itinerary or your confirmation invoice. Payments are available to be made by Cash, Cheque, Direct Credit or EFTPOS only, any payments made by Credit Card will incur a 3% surcharge added to your payment. Leisure Time Tours reserves the right to amend or reschedule the tour due the result of circumstances outside the company’s control. Leisure Time Tours also reserves the right to cancel the tour due to insufficient numbers and in this instance a substitute date will be offered or a full refund will be made available.
