Greetings, Ourenergythesedaysisfocusedonstrengtheningourcapacities.SouthEastLancasterHealthServicesgreatlyexpandeditscapacitythispastyearwiththecompletionofProjectH.E.A.L.,concludingtwoyearsoffacilitygrowththroughrenovationoftheoriginalcenteronSouthDukeStreetwithexpandeddentalchairs,andacquisitionandrenovationofanewhealthcenteronNorthArchStreet.Meanwhile,ourBrightSideOpportunityMedicalCentercontinuestoattractrecordnumbersofpatients.We’veaddedintegratedbehavioralhealthservicesinpartnershipwithCatholicCharities,strengthenedourWellnessCirclestosupportandeducatepatientsdealingwithdiabetes,asthma,weightmanagement,andparenting,andreinvigoratedourvaluablecommunitypartnerships. Withnewadministrativestaffthereisanewperspectiveonopportunitiestobuildonexistingorganizationalstrengths.JulieKorick,CFO,bringsfinancialexperiencesthatblendwithanewapproachtofiscalanalysis.NoriHarris,COO,usesherclinicaltrainingtostrengthenservicedeliverytopatients.HildaShirk,CEO,offersresourcesandinsightsfrommanyyearsofleadingboardsandorganizationstooptimalperformance.Meanwhile,BillFife,MD,ChiefMedicalOfficercontinuestooverseetheprovisionofqualitymedicalcare. TheBoardofDirectorshaspositioneditsgovernanceforcontinuedgrowth,affirmingthemissionoftheorganizationandourstrategicpriorities.Aswelookahead,oureffortswillimprovepatientaccesstocare,equipstaffforoptimalperformance,identifynewopportunities,andnurturecommunityrelationships.FullimplementationoftheAffordableCareActisexpectedtoincreasedemandforourservicesandwewanttobeavailableforthosewhoneedourmedicalanddentalservices.WearecommittedtodeliveringwellnessFORthecommunity,providedBYthecommunity.

We cared for 19,592 patients during FY12.• 16,316 were medical patients and 5,734 were dental patients.• 2,458 were BOTH medical and dental patients of ours.

56.1% of our patients are female.35.8% of our patients are under age 18.352 new refugees entered into our care during FY12.

We provided 73,833 visits in FY12.59,730 of these visits were medical visits and 14,103 were dental visits.
