Yes, I agree with the proposition that author talks about 'The Inhumanity of Politics'. The Politics encourages the people to dehumanize our opponents which in turn dehumanize ourselves.

According to writer, the best way for changing others thought is through peaceful persuasion rather

than demoralizing them. The basic principle of politics which is focused to violence when other

means of persuasion have failed is really a tragic! All the aware citizen of any nation should abhor

this drift toward inhumanity. One must strive to be better than politics encourages us to be.

Violence is definitely a bad practice and we should never give support for such activities which arises

questions toward humanity! As per writer, Political decisions are either-or and encourage fellows to

see each other as enemies which are completely unacceptable. As one of the responsible citizen of

my nation, I would never be willing to see battle between my brothers and sisters in the name of

politics! Politics is a philosophy and everybody has their rights to follow but they should never mock

and act inhuman to others who believe in another philosophy i.e. Political views. This article is a

vivid representation of today's world. We can see how the world is moving with politics, how the

thoughts of people are changing day-to-day and their activities for humanity. Its going towards

brutality which is very devastating. The writer's view is realistic and I fully agree with his statement. I

hope this sort of inhuman behavior will end soon.

What do you think is the just role of government in society? What should the

government do and what should it not do?

As the main component of any nation, the government should always focus to the matter that is fruitful for their country people. Regardless of any political views, it should be unbiased and do the

right decisions and help to make the country beautiful! The just role of government in the society

could be respecting everyone's thought so that there will always be win-win situation and no any

internal conflict between their thoughts arises.

The government should focus to the positive aspects of development which may lead to the progress of the nation. The government should decentralize its power to the

states/provinces/zones/districts so that every part of nation could use their available resources to

optimum level.

To give security to the people, Securing their liberty and protecting their properties are the fundamental role of government and it should focus on these things. To relate it with the current

situation, there is earthquake in my country 'Nepal' and the first and primary thing government

should do is to protect the country people who are the victims.

The government should not promote any criminals by protecting them and misusing their power to free culprit from prison.

South Asia SFL requires leaders who understand the ideas of liberty and

can lead projects to spread them. While it is not expected that you

already understand the ideas of liberty, mention some of your qualities

and experiences which make you a good candidate for the South Asia

Local Coordinator Program.

My qualities are basically that I can interact with other people easily, I could speak in public fluently, I have good communication skills, I am laborious and a self-motivated person, I

dont get frustrated with the small things rather they makes me strong and pushes me

forward. I hope these are the qualities SFL program are searching within its candidates and I

am one of them whom it is searching for!

To get involved in any organization, we need to have experiences and fortunately; I do have some of the experiences. For some time, I worked as a brand ambassador of Microsoft for

my University. During that time, I organized some events which are techno-related and the

main focus of the event was to make people aware about the online education. I was the

event coordinator of the program and it was quite fruitful as the audience seemed happy

for the event. I am also a member of Human right organization (Amnesty International -

Nepal) and our team successfully conducted the road drama on "rights of women" which

was also appreciated one. These are my experiences regarding my activities with the Public.

Moreover, I believe that, to get involved in any organization, we need to be passionate and self-motivated person which could be found within me. So, I think that I am one of the good

candidates for the South Asia Local Coordinator program and hope that the organization

will give me a chance to work with!

Why do you want to devote time to student activism for liberty?

I strongly believe that being a human is not a great deal if he/she is not doing anything for the human kind and the society. So, I want to spare my few time towards humanity and would like to

help the needy person as much as I can through some student groups like SFL. Many people these

days are deprived of freedom and are suffering from racial problems (especially in developing

country) which I dislike and such things are not good for the nation. So, to minimize such bad

customs and traditions, I want to involve myself for liberty.

Please list what you consider to be the three most important factors of running a successful student organization for liberty and why you believe those are the most important factors.

Factor #1 Self-Motivation

Why do you believe Factor #1 is important to running a successful student

organization?

I believe that motivation is only the factor that keep us inspired all over the time and give us strength to do our work continuously and constantly. Due to some factors, we might get

into trouble and our feeling towards the organization might get lessened. But if we are a

self-motivated person then of course we might forget all those pain besides and get into our

noble work for man-kind, which is ultimately important to running a successful student

organization.

Factor #2

Trustworthy members

For running a successful student organization, the team members must be trustworthy and should not be of deceiving nature. For conducting any programs in any locality the team

must be strong because without a strong team, program couldnt be successful. The strong

team is the outcome of the members involved into it and is categorized by their nature. The

members with trustworthy character are essential for organization

Factor #3

Fund No any organization runs smoothly and effectively without fund. Its one of the important

factors to running a successful student organization. To conduct any small or big programs

and seminars in university, colleges and schools the team requires fund for conducting

those programs and give beneficial ideas from the stage to the floor. So, I believe that we

can never ignore this important factor for running a successful student organization.
