SummaryThe  worldwide  handyman  &  property  maintenance  sector  is  growing  rapidly  but  is  largely  fragmented  and  untapped.  Multiman's  franchise  opportunity  is  scalable  and  has  a  strategic  diversification  plan  that  exceeds  normal  territory  optimisation.  It  is  also  a  service  that  is  set  to  raise  the  bar  in  terms  of  property  development  and  maintenance  in  South  Africa  !Multiman  is    primarily  a  handyman  service  that  targets  Homeowners,  Property  Investors,  Office  Managers  and  Lettings  and  Managing  Agents  who  require  a  reliable  and  relatively  low  cost  solution  to  minor  home  and  office  maintenance.  Our  Multi-­‐Skilled  approach  means  that  a  single  Multiman  can  (in  one  visit)  complete  multiple  tasks  that  would  ordinarily  require  the  efforts  of    a  number  of  specialist  tradesmen  e.g.  Plumber,  Painter,  Carpenter  or  Electrician.  For  the  purposes  of  diversification  the  handyman  service  is  an  excellent  route  to  entry  into  the  local  property  maintenance  and  refurbishment  market.    The  handyman  service  enjoys  high  customer  volumes  and  rapid  relationship  building  which  creates  excellent  foundations  for  both  expansion  and  diversification  in  to  more  specialist  fields.  Amazingly  20%  of  the  call-­‐outs  customers  describe  as  small  and  simple  actually  require  the  hands  of  more  specialist  workmen  (e.g.  Gas  Engineers,  Electricians,  Builders).  We  are  also  frequently  asked  by  customers  if  we  are  able  to  do  refurbishments,  kitchen  installations  and  bathroom  fitting.  This  offers  an  excellent  opportunity  to  “feed”  the  expansion  of  our  additional  services.      After  years  of  customers  being  “Ripped  Off”  by  tradesmen  who  more  often  than  not  do  terrible  work  it  is  clear  that  the  property  maintenance  industry  in  South  Africa  needs  a  trusted  and  reliable  brand.    Referrals  are  no  longer  acceptable  as  a  way  of  sourcing  a  tradesmen…  “a  friend  of  a  friends  cousin”  often  knows  no  more  than  a  random  stranger.  Whats  more,  there  is  nobody  to  call  when  something  goes  wrong.  He  may  be  a  “hell  of  a  nice  guy”  but  when  it  comes  down  to  it,  if  he  hasnt  provided  you  with  a  great  service,  he  is  simply  just  another  “bakkie  builder”  who  has  taken  you  for  a  ride.    !Multiman  offers  South  African  home  owners  and  businesses  an  opportunity  to  have  a  well  branded,  well  trained  and  highly  efficient  handyman  and  property  maintenance  service  on  call.  We  recruit  the  best  tradesmen,  we  police  check  them,  we  train  them  in  customer  services  and  up-­‐selling  and  we  pay  them  well.  An  outstanding  team  means  an  outstanding  business.    !!!
