• Edward Byrne Memorial State and Local Law Enforcement Assistance Program

Created by the Federal Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986, Byrne funds are awarded to each state. These funds are then sub-granted to state and local governmental agencies for projects that are consistent with congressionally approved criminal justice and drug control issues.
