We started the school year with the discovery of a French artist, Niki de saint Phalle. She created statues and paintings, we will discover one of her famous creations when going to Paris in May with class 2 and 3

After the nature class, the elder ones studied the life of foxes and represented them

Charleville Mézières worldwide Puppet theatre festivalWe went to the festival with class 2
and 3 in september 2007.The creation of the Wordlwide Festival of Puppets Theatres has a major impact on Charleville-Mézières' cultural life, and all over the region.

Our children saw two shows and a lot of street performances,and an exhibition.
Durant cette journée, nos élèves ont vu

animations de rue et une exposition
Of all the animated arts, the puppet theatre is one which derives the most
benefit from all the other arts. It gathers them, explores them, gives them a new interpretation and makes them come
face to face with each other. The theatre of actors, dance and music are the very
breath of life of puppetry. Painting, sculpture, cinema, video, illusory arts and manual skillfulness are the tools with which it is going to submit the
dimensions of space and time to the sole necessity of its own narrative.
In fact puppet theatre offers a future to the theatre and to performing arts in
general.

Les Grands ont étudié l’artisanat africain;ils ont observé les tissus Bogolan et Senoufo pour créer leurs représentations
Class 3 ( 5 to 6 years old) is having a djembé project and also studies
the art of Africa, inspired by African clothing such as Bogolan
and Senoufo.
