DeciBloc® products represent lightweight acoustic barriers designed for general noise control within construction and other industries. With eyelets on every side, barriers can be attached by cable ties, screws or specialist fixing kits to site fencing, scaffolding, hoarding’s and many other structures. The Contractor curtain and quilt are excellent for general noise control with a BS EN rated attenuation of 28.2dB. The quilt size corresponds to a 3.5m temporary fence panel, for convenient installation. Patented Velcro side connection enables a seamless noise barrier of greater integrity, and eyelets enable suspension from site fencing, scaffolding and hoardings. This product also incorporates the signature fold lines for easy palletised transportation and storage.

The Soundex® SCF-Tech Quilt conforms with UK scaffold legislation BS7955, providing a unique control solution for noisy works on scaffolding. The specifi c sizing of these lightweight quilts makes them easy to attach to scaffold structures, using traditional scaffold bungee’s or nylon cable ties through the strategically placed eyelets. Incorporating the Soundex® signature easy-fold-down design, they remove the potential issues associated with rolled-up products especially when being lifted up at height.

This extremely robust 2.5 x 3.0m industrial quality pecker shroud incorporates acoustic walls and roof, with one open side for ease of machinery operation, and is designed such that only the breaker attachment is used within the enclosure to reduce the risk of fume pollution. It also doubles up as a chip guard removing the requirement of fence panels and debris netting, and is easily moved as work progresses. Available as either a 2m or 3m high enclosure.

Maxi Enclosure

Boasting exceptional size, complete with a pitched

roof, the Maxi Enclosure creates a large and

spacious noise-controlled area on site for all high-

noise level cutting and other operations. Based on a

This highly specialist acoustic curtain was developed in conjunction with the London Underground to the extremely stringent BS6853:1999 standard. It is the only Class 0 fi re rated acoustic barrier currently available which can be used in sub-surface environments, including areas within the London Underground. It boasts excellent attenuation properties and is easily installed with conventional eyelets for suspension and unique Velcro edging for a sealed barrier.

Representing the best temporary acoustic curtain currently available, with BS EN attenuation rating of 35.6 dB and an absorption coeffi cient of 1.0, the C2/3 Curtain is recommended for use in the most extreme of noise sensitive environments including hospitals, laboratories and government offi ces, where disturbance must be minimised. Once sealed off with C2/3 Curtains, normal activities can continue as normal. Easily installed with eyelets for suspension and unique Velcro fastening for an unbroken barrier.

Designed specifi cally for piling within the rail industry, this patented attenuator helps to reduce the noise from steel cylindrical piles during impact. Extra strong magnets hold the attenuator to the pile during each impact, while individual attenuators are joined with a Velcro connection, removing the requirement for extra straps or buckles. Each 500mm section can be removed as the pile is driven into the ground enabling maximum attenuation throughout the piling process.
