Battery Precautions• Use only the size and type of batteries specified.• When installing batteries, observe proper +/- polarities. Incorrect installation of

battery may cause damage to the unit.• Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g., alkaline with carbon-zinc or old

batteries with new ones).• If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to

prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.• Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.• Dispose of used batteries properly in accordance with all state, province, and

county regulations.

Assembly and Instructions for UseUnpack the unit carefully. Remove all the accessories from the carton. Do not remove any labels or stickers on the bottom of the unit or adapter. Before setting up the unit, verify that the following contents are present:• Sound Spa Auto Set Clock Radio x 1• AC Adapter and power cord x 1

Power SourceThis unit is supplied with an AC adapter; take the following steps to connect the adaptor.1. Unwind the power cord of the AC adaptor to its full length.2. Connect the AC adapter to the DC5V Input.3. Plug the AC adapter into an outlet (100V – 240VAC 50/60 Hz).4. To power the unit off completely, unplug the AC adapter from the wall outlet.

NOTE: Connecting this system to any other power source may cause damage to the system. For sufficient ventilation, keep other objects at least 4 inches away from the unit.

Setting Clock TimePress and hold (3 seconds) the TIME SET button on back of unit (Fig. 2), the hour will begin to flash. Select the hour using the VOLUME buttons on the top to adjust the hour (when in 12 hour mode remember to set correct AM/PM, a “PM” icon will be displayed) (Fig. 1), press TIME SET button again to select the minute using the VOLUME buttons on top again to adjust. Press TIME SET button again, now time is set.NOTE: After time is set, press TIME SET button again and use the VOLUME button to select 12 or 24 hour format.

Setting and Using the AlarmsSetting Alarm 1 or Alarm 21. Press and hold (3 seconds) the desired alarm button (ALARM 1 or ALARM 2)

located on the top of the unit to activate the alarm set feature. (Fig. 1)2. Press and hold the ALARM button again and the hour will begin flashing.3. Use the TUNER button (or the volume up/down button) on top of the unit to adjust

the hour, paying attention to the AM and PM indicators (when in 12 hour mode).

4. Press the ALARM button again and the minute will begin flashing. Use TUNER button again to adjust the minute.

5. Press the ALARM button again to select the source. The alarm can be set to sound a Beep, Nature Sounds or play the FM radio. Select using the TUNER button.

6. Press ALARM button again to adjust the maximum volume of the gradual wake feature (alarm begins soft and slowly gets louder) by using the TUNER buttons to adjust the sound level up or down.

7. Press the ALARM button a final time, the alarm is now set.

Turning Off The Alarm / Snooze OperationThe Sound Spa is equipped with gradual wake, which means that the alarm begins soft and slowly gets louder. This will ensure a non-jarring wake-up.• After the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE bar located on the top of the unit and

the alarm will sound again after nine minutes. NOTE: You may only press the SNOOZE button during the ALARM mode for one hour (7 times). After the seventh time, the alarm will turn off and will not sound again until the next set time.

• To turn off the alarm, press any button (except the SNOOZE/DIM/SLEEP button) on the top of the unit.

Listening to the RadioNOTE: For best reception, fully unwind the wire antenna. DO NOT strip, alter or attach to other antennas.1. To listen to the radio, press the POWER button located on top of the unit.2. Press the RADIO button on the unit until FM icon and station frequency appears on

the display.3. Use the TUNER selector button on the top of the unit to select desired station. For

auto seek press and hold TUNER selector for 2 seconds then release and the tuner will find the next station with a signal.

4. Press the POWER button to turn radio off.

Sounds1. To listen to the Nature Sounds, press the POWER button on the top of the unit.2. Press the SOUND button to scroll through the sounds.3. Your sound selection will illuminate on the LCD screen.

Sleep FeatureWhile listening to the radio press the SNOOZE/DIM/SLEEP button to activate the sleep feature. This allows you to set a sleep timer for 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes. Once set, the unit will continue playing for the set length of time, then will automatically turn off.

Projector FunctionThe Sound Spa is equipped with a feature that allows you to project the TIME on any flat surface.1. To turn projector on, press the PROJECTOR button on back of unit.2. Carefully move the PROJECTOR device up or down to change where the image

gets projected.3. To adjust the focus, carefully turn the round end of the projector lens to the desired

focus.4. Press the PROJECTOR button to turn off.

Volume ControlTo adjust the volume, use the VOLUME buttons located on the top of the unit.

Display Dimmer ControlPress the SNOOZE/DIM/SLEEP bar to adjust the backlight intensity of the clock display. The POWER selector button needs to be off to use the dimmer control.

Backup BatteryThis alarm clock is equipped with a battery backup feature (1 CR-2032 battery included and already installed) to keep the clock time and alarm settings during power outage. The battery is located on the bottom of the unit for easy access (small Phillips head screw driver required, not included).

MaintenanceTo Store: You may leave the unit on display, or you can store it in a cool, dry place.To Clean: Use only a soft dry cloth to clean the enclosure of the unit.NEVER use liquids or abrasive cleaner to clean.

Précautions relatives aux piles• Utilisez uniquement le type et la taille de pile spécifiés.• Lorsque vous installez une pile, respectez l’orientation des polarités (+/-). Une

mauvaise installation des piles peut endommager l’appareil.• N’utilisez pas différents types de piles simultanément (par ex. des piles alcalines

avec des piles salines, ou encore des piles neuves avec des piles usagées).• Si vous prévoyez ne pas vous servir de l’appareil pendant longtemps, enlevez la pile

afin de prévenir une éventuelle fuite.• Ne jetez pas les piles dans un feu. Elles pourraient exploser ou couler.• Jetez les piles conformément aux règlements étatiques, provinciaux et nationaux.

Assemblage et instruction d’utilisationDéballez l’appareil délicatement. Retirez tous les accessoires du carton. Ne retirez aucune étiquette ou aucun collant se trouvant sous l’appareil et sur l’adaptateur. Avant d’entamer les réglages, vérifiez d’avoir en main tous les accessoires suivants :• Radio-réveil Sound Spa à réglage automatique x 1• Adaptateur c. a. et câble d’alimentation x 1

Source d’énergieCet appareil est alimenté à partir d’un adaptateur c.a.; suivez les étapes suivantes pour brancher l’adaptateur.1. Déroulez le câble d’alimentation de l’adaptateur c.a. à sa pleine longueur.2. Branchez l’adaptateur c.a. à la prise c. c. de 5 V.3. Branchez l’adaptateur c.a. à une prise de courant (100 – 240 V c.a. 50/60 Hz).4. Pour éteindre complètement l’appareil, débranchez l’adaptateur c.a. de la prise

murale.

REMARQUE : Brancher ce système à un autre type de source d’énergie peut l’endommager. Pour assurer une ventilation adéquate, assurez-vous que l’appareil soit à une distance minimale de 4 po (10 cm) de tout autre objet.

Réglage de l’heureTenez le bouton de réglage de l’heure TIME SET enfoncé pendant 3 secondes, jusqu’à ce que l’heure clignote. Ce bouton se trouve au dos de l’appareil (Fig. 2). Régler l’heure en utilisant les boutons de réglage du VOLUME situés au-dessus de l’appareil (en mode 12 heures, n’oubliez pas de régler AM/PM correctement; une icône PM apparaît pour les heures en après-midi.) (Fig. 1), appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton TIME SET pour sélectionner les minutes et, encore une fois, utilisez les

boutons de réglage du VOLUME pour régler les minutes. Appuyez une dernière fois sur TIME SET pour sauvegarder votre réglage.REMARQUE : Une fois l’heure réglée, appuyez sur le bouton TIME SET et utiliser le bouton VOLUME pour choisir entre un affichage en 12 ou 24 heures.

Configuration et utilisation des alarmesRéglage de l’alarme 1 ou l’alarme 21. Tenez enfoncé (3 secondes) le bouton de l’alarme que vous souhaitez programmer

(alarm 1 ou alarm 2) situé au-dessus de l’appareil pour activer la configuration de cette alarme. (Fig. 1).

2. Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton d’alarme. Les caractères numériques de l’heure clignoteront.

3. Utiliser le bouton TUNER (syntoniseur) ou les boutons de réglage du volume situé au-dessus de l’appareil pour régler l’heure. N’oubliez pas de régler correctement AM/PM si vous souhaitez afficher l’heure en mode 12 heures.

4. Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton d’alarme. Les caractères numériques des minutes clignoteront. Utilisez de nouveau le bouton TUNER pour régler les minutes.

5. Appuyez encore une fois sur le bouton d’alarme pour sélectionner la source. Choisissez, en utilisant le bouton TUNER, parmi un timbre sonore, les sons de la nature ou la radio FM.

6. Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton ALARM pour régler le volume maximal de la fonction de réveil graduel (l’alarme commence à faible volume et augmente graduellement) en utilisant le bouton TUNER.

7. Appuyez sur le bouton ALARM une dernière fois pour sauvegarder vos réglages.

Désactivation de l’alarme/fonction de rappel d’alarmeLe radio-réveil Sound Spa est muni d’une fonction de réveil graduel : l’alarme s’active d’abord avec un volume faible, et le volume augmente graduellement. Cette fonction évite les réveils en sursaut.• Appuyez sur le bouton SNOOZE situé sur le dessus de l’appareil pour désactiver

l’alarme. L’alarme s’activera de nouveau dans 9 minutes.REMARQUE : Veuillez noter que vous pouvez utiliser le rappel d’alarme (SNOOZE) pendant une heure maximum (donc 7 fois). Après la 7e utilisation du rappel d’alarme, l’alarme se désactive complètement et s’activera uniquement selon la prochaine programmation.• Pour arrêter l’alarme, appuyez sur n’importe quel bouton (à l’exception du bouton

SNOOZE/DIM/SLEEP) qui se trouve au-dessus de l’appareil.

Écoute de la RadioREMARQUE : Pour obtenir la meilleure réception possible, allongez l’antenne télescopique à son maximum. NE PAS dénuder, altérer ou attacher l’antenne à d’autres antennes.1. Pour écouter la radio, appuyez sur le bouton de mise en marche POWER situé sur

le dessus du radio-réveil.2. Appuyez sur le bouton RADIO jusqu’à ce que l’écran affiche FM et une fréquence

radio.3. Utilisez le bouton de syntonisation TUNER sur l’appareil pour choisir la station de

radio. Pour détecter automatiquement une station, tenez le bouton TUNER enfoncé pendant 2 secondes et ensuite relâchez-le. De cette façon, le syntoniseur trouvera le prochain signal radio.

4. Appuyez sur le bouton POWER pour éteindre l’appareil.

Sons1. Pour écouter les sons de la nature, appuyez sur le bouton de mise en marche

POWER situé sur le dessus du radio-réveil.2. Appuyez sur le bouton SOUND pour choisir le son que vous souhaitez entendre.3. Le son que vous avez choisi est illuminé à l’écran ACL.

Fonction d’arrêt automatiqueLorsque vous écouter le radio-réveil, appuyez sur le bouton de rappel d’alarme SNOOZE/DIM/SLEEP pour activer la fonction d’arrêt automatique. Ceci vous permet de programmer une minuterie de 15, 30, 45, ou 60 minutes. Une fois programmé, l’appareil continuera de fonctionner jusqu’à ce que la période temps sélectionnée soit écoulée, après quoi l’appareil s’éteindra automatiquement.

ProjecteurCe radio-réveil Sound Spa est muni d’un projecteur qui vous permet d’afficher l’heure sur n’importe quelle surface plate.1. Pour activer le projecteur, appuyez sur le bouton PROJECTOR situé au dos de

l’appareil.2. Bougez délicatement le projecteur vers le haut ou le bas pour déplacer

Réglage du volumePour régler le volume, utilisez les boutons VOLUME situés au-dessus de l’appareil.

Réglage de l’intensité de l’affichageAppuyez sur le bouton Rappel d’alarme/gradateur/arrêt automatique (SNOOZE / DIMMER / SLEEP) pour régler l’intensité du rétroéclairage de l’affichage du radio-réveil. L’appareil doit être éteint pour utiliser cette fonction de gradation.

Pile de secoursCe réveil est muni d’une pile de secours (de type CR-2032, incluse et déjà installée) afin de conserver les réglages de l’heure et des alarmes en cas de panne de courant. Cette pile se trouve sous l’appareil pour un accès facile (un petit tournevis à tête cruciforme est requis, non inclus).

EntretienRangement : Laissez l’appareil où vous l’utilisez, ou rangez-le dans sa boîte dans un endroit frais et sec.Nettoyage : Utilisez uniquement un linge sec et doux pour nettoyer les surfaces de l’appareil.NE JAMAIS UTILISER un nettoyant liquide ou abrasif pour nettoyer l’appareil.
