• We have looked at many sounds using a website called 'free sound'. We have used 'free sound' because each sound you download is free and also is not copy righted.

• We also liked that you can search for specific sounds in a search bar and many different sounds will appear for you to listen to.

• We searched many sounds that are typical sound conventions of the horror genre.

• We quite liked the sound of the heartbeat and thought that it was typical of the horror genre and would go well if we put it in sync with our shots in our teaser trailer.

• We also decided to use a scream at the end of our teaser trailer that appears at the end along with the main title of the movie and the release date.

• We have decided to use a scream that gets louder towards the end as we think it will create suspense and emphasize the horror within our movie.

• To introduce Maddie and her character, as the movie is about her, we filmed her saying “ready or not, here I come…”. We then put the footage onto Final Cut Pro and cut out the picture so we just had the sound which we could add to our teaser trailer.

• I think doing this worked very well as we also used the sound of a heart beat that beats in synchronisation with the changing shots on the screen. This suggests that Maddie's character is going to do something bad as this creates an anti-climax.
