What is the Sound changes the Planet Global Initiative?

Sound changes the City / Sound changes the Planet Global Initiative is revealing how ambient Sound design can

impact the Cities: urban environment and communities.

We propose Sound and its Cultural impact as a unique medium for a social and global change.

With the Sound changes the City / Sound changes the Planet Global Initiative we’re exploring the Cities and its

communities through the perspective of a Sound and researching how Sound can impact the City –

with scalable Interactive workshops, talks and actions.

Bringing together Communities, Citizens and Artists, acting from the City and Sound sides, together we're

brainstorming, exploring and creating audial experiments and solutions that will improve livability and walkability

of the City.

We are focused on results that could be used in a real life for the real City-related work and from the Artistic side.



Sound changes the City / Sound changes the Planet Global Initiative

Launched in 5 countries (data: December 2019; public launch: July 2018), initiative is taking place throughout

different Cities around the World.

We’re working with local and global companies, governmental organizations, communities and individuals.

City Symphonies™ inspired by the collected City-data and composed by AI with Blockchain technology and

Decentralized Improvisation™ showing the state of the City and the beauty of the Human-Machine Collaboration.

Audial and visual experiments and technological solutions from our Art+Tech Laboratory, created with the City

data researches improving livability and walkability within the neighborhood and the City and inspiring future

Artists.

Inclusion and involvement of the local neighborhoods and the local communities giving a research data on how

Sound can impact such neighborhoods and communities*.

The pop-up Sonic initiatives and Visual/Multimedia Art installations are attracting various types of international

audiences, including Tourists and Active Citizens and improving WalkScore of the City.

Results of our City data researches in sound- and ecology-related fields are partly available as an Open Data and

are used for the improvement proposals.

City Symphonies™ – highly anticipated unique musical shows (performed live with local musicians),

composed from the City data of different districts using world's first true AI composer Musical Blockchain™.

City Symphonies™ are a permanently evolving Audio Snapshot of a City's current state. These musical shows

are result of the Human-Computer Interaction.

Sound + Art installations and attractions in the Public places and undeveloped areas of the City.

Interactions and attractions with gamification designed for the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality industries,

including special Sound Guided City Tours.

Social involvement programs and initiatives.

Digital/Culture Center integrated initiatives. Digital/Culture Center – is a mobile space and a community,

dedicated to the popularization of the Digital Art, Art+Tech, Culture+Tech and a new wave of the Future

Digital Artists, collectors and fans. It is created for a worldwide mobile Hub Space and organizing Events,

Meetings, Ideas exchange, Educational activities – Cultural/Blockchain education, Networking and more.

Noise data packages and Sound archive, Urban Soundscape data.

Goals and Objectives: Stage 01

In the current stage – Stage 01 of the Sound changes the City / Sound changes the Planet Global Initiative we’re

focusing on the extensive work with the City-data, Research, Educational activities and a Social responsibility.

We’re planning to implement following goals and objectives for the Stage 01 in 10 countries during next 2 years

with minimum 1 City for each Country covered.

City Symphony™.

Local communities and neighborhood inclusion.

Cultural Education / involvement ice-breaker.

Stages and tasks for a selected City of the Stage 01

Interaction with the local/regional partners and local governmental organizations.

Audial and Ecological City GDPR-compliant data collection (noise, rhythmical, patternal, thermal, VOC/CO2

and other types) with the special industrial-grade equipment CitySenseBox™ and PlanetSenseBox™ – in-

house developed families of the mobile and stationary IoT devices for the improved City measurements.

Analysis and data processing.

Preparation for a public stage.
